Beauty and the

Beauty and the Beast/Frozen 2

Anyone excited? I've always adored the 1990s Beauty and the Beast since childhood. My only fear is that the new one will be awful and ruin the classy, iconic original. How can they possibly try to redo it? Will Cogsworth and Lumiere still exist? Will Emma Watson and Luke Evans break out in song? (If so, Belle totally needs to sing "Home.") I am...not so impressed by how Disney redid Cinderella. I didn't mind Maleficent, because there was a twist on Sleeping Beauty, absolving the villainess and downplaying the prince, but as far as I could tell, there was no change to Cinderella--and in this advanced age, the prince saving the day gets OLD.

As for Frozen...you can't get too much of a good thing and I can't wait to find out the plot. I always wished they did a sequel for Tangled, but I guess Flynn and Rapunzel were already all happily ever after, so there wasn't much material left over...

And on another note...hello everyone again!!!

I heard that there will be a long-lost brother of Ana and Elsa who also has ice powers, but that may be just a rumor...

And I recently went to a middle school (field trip) to see a play rework of Beauty and the Beast, which was just beautiful. :.)

And I doodled a comic strip in class today of a rework of Rapunzel, where Rapunzel gets tired of waiting for her handsome prince/thief to come along, and instead becomes a ninja and escapes the tower herself. ALL SHALL FEAR RAPUNZEL THE NINJAAAAAA!!!!

I'm excited about Beauty and the Beast, mostly because of EMMA FREAKING WATSON, but I've never really liked Frozen for some reason.

Frozen? bleh, Disney sequels? Usually bleh, just my opinion. I didn't know they were making Beuty and the Beast? I didn't watch Maleficent or Cinderella though, but if Emma Watson is Belle than I might see it. And glad to see you back Everinne!

The second I saw this post, my eyes popped and I had to Google it.

This is going to be one of those movies that is going to be the best thing ever or suck.

And now I just researched more and I realized Dan Stevens is going to be playing the Beast, and if anybody here has watched Downton Abbey they will realize why I am silently freaking out. How could this get any better?

I haven't seen Cinderella yet (a side note: it's so funny how both of these movies contain an actor/actress who is or has been on Downton Abbey) but I think it'll be amazing, and the Maleficent movies was just plain great, so I'm crossing my fingers that this will be good.

But I think it will be.

@somebody:
I read a really awesome comic that was like that once! It's called Rapunzel's Revenge. I think you'd like it!

And about Frozen 2, I was thinking maybe they'd introduce another elemental! A real plot twist would be if it was, like, a fire elemental or something!

P.S: I am so behind the times. Beauty and the Beast 2? NOBODY EVER TELLS ME THESE THINGS! (That's like, my slogan. I use it a lot.)

I really want to see it. Emma Watson! She is the best.

Hello!!!

I have some feeling that Jack Frost is involved in Frozen 2, but that's just because everyone here in the Boston area is very mad at Jack Frost, so the story is stuck in my mind.

Cinderella,.... oye.

Beauty and the Beast... interesting idea.

#1: HI EVERINNE!!! I saw your post and the first thing is like, oh, yeah, Everinne was such an influence on the CB, her posts are still here, and then I see the time and date and YAYAYAYAYAY!

#2: Okay, calming a little bit down, but I am right with you, Nora, go Emma Watson!

#3: Maleficent really was good, and I haven't seen the Cinderella one. Has anyone seen Into the Woods, the Red Riding Hood remake?
