Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

WICKED!!!! I love

WICKED!!!! I love Wicked, the book and the musical!  I love it because it shows you the other side of the story through the Wicked Witch of the west.  It shows  what happened to her to become wicked. it's really good.  it also shows who is the scarecrow, the lion, the tin man.  It is really good!  I saw it at a theater and I am working on the book.

P.S.  this is one of my threads for the challenge!

Wicked was my first Broadway musical, too! We got seats that would've cost, like, $200, but one of my uncle's students was playing Fiero! He gave my Uncle's family tickets, and when they heard we were going, they gave them to us. I've read the book, but that was probably a bad decision, 'cause I was scared for life. Or at least weeks. AND my doctor knows the guy who wrote the book Wicked. Isn't that AWESOME??

Thirty dollars each for a balcony seat!!!!  My aunt got two thirty-dollar tickets!!!!  It was in the Chicogo Theater.  We got special tickets.  We got to go on a bus to get there.  For just thirty dollars!!!!  (Well it was $60 for both of us.)

They.... They're both so good... *brain explodes*

Um... Maybe the musical because I lovelovelove music and love to sing, but it's really a very close call.

*nod* I like singing, too, but we don't get to see many musicals because my brother doesn't like them: "Why don't they just say what they mean, instead if bursting into song about it?!"

Our grandfather made him watch the musical of Oliver Twist, and THAT didn't go down too well . . . "Oliver, Oliver, Oliver . . ." "Caaaan I have some more soup?" "Noooo, you may not have any soup!" "No soup! No soup!"
Arrggghhh . . .

Ha ha!!! You're funny. :)

Ugg, my brother hates musicals too. Not fun.

But thankfully, mom is on my side. Plus, I have to hear him pounding away on the piano AAAAAAALLLLL DAY. It drives me insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took forever to convince him not to play while I'm watching a movie. "It's better than the music they have!" Yaaaah, RIGHT!

Oh, but it got so much worse, and so much better in a way now that he plays both piano and guitar!!! (he taught himself both) Better because it's way quieter. Worse because now it follows me. It even goes out to my cottage, I have to forbid it, but even then, sometimes it comes!! AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell your brother that some stories just don't work without music. Wicked was originally written as a movie, but it quickly became obvious that it wasn't working. So they made it into a musical that won three Tonys and a Grammy.

No idea, I like them the same amount. I would like to say what I like about wicked (The musical). It's very immotional, it has sarcasm, it's funny, it's scaryish, it makes you cry, it makes you laugh, it has good music, it's perfect for if you want to feel a lot of feelings, you wouldn't even think that you would be able to feel all those things in one show. It's a comedy, it's a drama and just in two hours!!!!
