I have really different tastes in music than everybody else that I know. I like Bob Dylan, and I recommend listening to "Into the Blue" by Emmanuel Pahud and Jacky Terrasson if you like instrumental music.

Simon and Garfunkel are really cool, but I've only heard "The Sound of Silence" and "El Condor Pasa." (The second one I'm not too sure about the title.) COOL!!! You play violin and piano!!! So does my sister Martia, who is also on the site!!!! Do you do Suzuki? I play Suzuki piano and non-Suzuki clarinet...........

Well, I guessed it had to be Suzuki, bcuz on another thread here you said that you started playing the violin at age 3, and I immediatly thought, it has to be Mother-Tongue-Method, bcuz as far as I know, that's the only method where u can start playing an instrument at age 3!

I listen to pop, rap sometimes, and stuff kind of like that. Sometimes I think classical music is really good!

Some people seem to assume that if it's classical music, it must be boring. Sometimes, honestly, they're right. But there are lots of really pretty pieces out there.
Oh, anyone else listen to Celtic/Irish music? I don't like the obnoxiously Irish stuff, but the rest can be really great.

Yes! I am part Irish, so maybe that has something to do with it. One of my favorite pieces I have ever played on the piano is called "Dance of the Irish". It was really fun.
