Today is opening night for my cast for a play I'm doing :) hurray! Any other actors/actresses out there? What are some roles you've played, preformances you've been in/seen? What did your COSTUMES look like? I'd love to know!

I've only been a bookseller in Beauty and the Beast but I'm looking forward to doing more. Have you ever been to Broadway?

Yep! Twice, a couple years ago I saw Matilda and this January I saw Les Miserable; now I am a HUGE fan of Les Mis. I can't wait for theatre season to start up!

Yay! Theater! I've been in like 10 mainstages and about 2 dozen skit/workshops things and 2 cabarets so I'm not going to list the parts, but I love theater! I wish I had more opportunity to to it, but I don't. Anyway... break a leg!

Thanks! I have another performance Saturday. Wow S. E. You've been in theatre for a while. I've been in plenty of skits (my siblings, cousins and I made them up), but only a few real plays.
Forrest, I've never seen Les Mis, but I love singing Do You Hear the People Sing because it fits my vocal range pretty well.

I have been Juliet in "Vampires vs Werewolves: Romeo and Juliet."
I am doing a drama for a VBS. I am Mrs. Harper.
And I LOVE acting, I just don't get to do it much.

I'm in Theater Camp right now! Each week, there's a different topic, and they select a play to perform. There are five groups, I think, and each group does a different scene. This year it's Shakepeare Week, and I'm playing Ariel for the harpy/wedding/wardrobe scene! (three in one, 'cause there's like seven scenes in the original. Or something.)
In the past, I've done Fairy Tale Courtroom as a witch (look it up, it's there), memorized a monologue by the genie in Aladdin for middle school tryouts, and sat around doing nothing backstage for a school production of The Tempest. I've also watched War Horse, Matilda, and another play I can't remember the name of on Broadway.

I was the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol. Also I was Puck in a Midsummer Night's Dream.

I've been in a few plays, many summer camp productions, and a cabaret. I've also been in dance recitals since I was 3.
But I absolutely LOVE acting and singing and stuff, and want to be a Broadway triple threat, blah, blah, blah.
I got into this awesome two week summer musical theatre intensive. For the audition they wanted a resume, a head shot, a letter of recomendation from a theatre coach or teacher, sixteen bars of a song that they chose for you, sixteeen bars of a song you choose from a musical written before the year 2000, and a monolougue from a play or musical. We're going to put on Honk Jr. It starts on Monday, YAAAAY!

I did Honk Jr. for a school play and it was really fun. I was Ida from the end of 'Every Tear a Mother Cries' onward. (We had two casts.)

I LOVELOVELOVE acting and right now I'm in a month-long theatre camp form Monday to Friday every day from one to five. We open next week, and we're doing Peter Pan! I play Ariel (yup, all of the mermaids are King Triton's daughters,) and Iridessa. I've also been in a few plays in the past, and more dance recitals than I can count. Hope your show goes well!

My play that I'm in right now is part of a summer workshop. It is called "The Secret of the Golden Medallion," and I am Inertia.

I'm homeschooled so I do a Home Instruction Program thing on Wednesday afternoons during the school year. We do a play once a year and I've been in two. Block Class starts again tomorrow so I'll find out what the play is soon!
