"A free* hotel stay? What in the world......?" But there's more.
l am The Teller of Tales, hotel manager. l always wear a cloak and for some reason, like this letter, l float. You are now frightened by this letter. You tear it up and throw it away.
"You can not escape the Hotel Le'Faye! You will come!" Cries an eeire voice. "Pack your bags and imaginary friends, because you're coming to the Hotel Le'Faye!
*No, in fact it isn't free. You will have to pay for our rocket boosters. Oh, wait, l wasn't supposed to say anything about that.

I'm bringing: my frying pan, iPad, glasses, glasses case, glasses cleaning cloth, PS4, HDTV, Diablo III (PS4 edition), controllers, pajamas, extra jumpsuits, snacks, a game of Uno, backup game of Uno, backup backup game of Uno, biohazardous material, radioactive material, mysterious Box of Experiments so I can continue my unorthodox scientific career, portal gun, collection of wickedly sharp medical tools (I'm totally not going to use them to dissect people!), MIRIS, security system, sugar packets (for the Dissociative Identity Disorder Sugar Packet Challenge), Amazon, Lotus, Diamonds, Silver, Fruity, Mespri, Magi, and pet food for all my pets. Oh yes, and all my dental stuff.
Shifting: I do not require packing. I shall simply summon all I require. Well, okay, I shall bring my pet cloud, Halo.
Volcano: I will take my rock collection, many matches, many lighters, lighter fluid, coal, gasoline, my Super Awesome Showy Destructive Hollywood Fireball mix, C4 (the explosive), dynamite, det cord, newspaper, logs, a flint and steel, rubbing alcohol (because it burns), petroleum jelly (BURN BABY BURN!), C4 (my pet dragon), dragon food, thermite, a magnifying glass (light refraction makes things burn), many grenades, a torch, a green screen to show off, pajamas, extra jumpsuits, hairspray, comb and hair brush (do you think I got my hair to be as beautifully styled as it is with no effort?), and because Somebody made me, a toothbrush and paste.

I'm coming, and I'm assuming that puppies are allowed at this hotel. My puppy is currently unnamed.
As a side note, how do some of you guys remember the Ski Lodges even though you have joined after the last Ski Lodge? Did you guys just hear how awesome they were or something? Just curious because since I haven't been on here in so long I'm really out of the loop. Also, what's all this stuff about alter-egos? Is it some Red/Ruby inspiration? I only ask that because I've seen some RP's that say 'no AEs' or 'AEs allowed' and stuff like that, so I was wondering when that became a thing.
Thanks for clearing things up -- I'm looking forward to enjoying my stay! Also, please reserve two tubs of blue moon ice cream in the hotel kitchen.

Madeline, the old ski lodge stories are still on the site for reading and rereading. Someone can probably post the link to find them easily.
I don't remember who starte AEs, but I don't think it was Red/Ruby. They got out of hand by irrationally interrupting otherwise serious writing threads with rude yelling.

Somebody: Yes. Her. After that, people began making alter egos, and now quite a few have alter egos who are a) hyper, b) jerks, c) a and b, or d) just a bit sillier than the original.
I have limited my Alter Egos, Shifting and Volcano, to 3 exclamation marks on normal threads that allow AEs and 5 on AE threads.
