Halloween! Yes that's

Halloween! Yes that's right  Halloween is just around the corner! So if you  celebrate Halloween you can chat about it on this thread!

This year I'm going to be.... The Mad Hatter!

That's funny, I was debating being an Alice in Wonderland character for Halloween...but I kind of felt like everyone would just think the movie, so few people are loyal to the books. I mean, there are so many "stylish" tutu-miniskirt type Cheshire Cat costumes for girls that I feel like no one would take a sincere costume seriously. Then again, I'm probably just being weird.

So I am being Mary Poppins! Magical nannies for the win!

It's funny, a friend of mine is going as a creepy doll- she likes horror. And I know a fourth grader who is dressing up as Katniss Everdeen... I'm just not into intense and scary sorts of things. So I see Halloween as an opportunity to dress up as a musical or book character. I went as Nymphadora Tonks last year and no one got it. Oh well.

Fflewddur says mygo! My go? Your turn? What game are we playing?

The tutu Cheshire Cat costumes made me want to vomit. Ugh. YOU CALL THAT A CHESHIRE CAT?! THAT IS A CREEPYPASTA MARY SUE OC!!!

The doll idea? I might do that next year-- I do enjoy horror sometimes...

Me too Sydney! I'm going to be (pause for dramatic effect) Queen Cimorene of the Enchanted Forest! Now you'll all be like: "Who's that?" She's from the Enchanted Forest series (at least that's what I think it's called.) Voilà!

My halloween traditions are rather different than most people's. For one thing, I don't go trick-or-treating. Instead, our family shares extra candy around the table, and we talk together. Usually, my brother starts bouncing off the wall. WE still wear costumes, though. However, they are for pictures on the front of Halloween greeting cards. Recently, my parents have started to allow my brother and me to carve and design the pumpkins, as opposed to my dad doing it. I don't know what my costume is; that, depending on the Halloween, is usually a surprise.

Actually, I just found out that my costume doesn't fit sooo . . . I'm either going to be Queen Guinevere, OR Princess Buttercup. Please help me decide!

Cheshire Cat Costumes- SCARY GIRLISH!

Tim Burton Cheshire Cat Costumes- SCARY CREEPY!

Nope, I'm going to be less creepy but still creepy as Cerberus for Halloween! It's going to be great! We have a bunch of plans... my dad wants to put my bag for candy inside one of the mouths, and we're going to make one collar read "tricks" and the other "treats". And I'm hoping we'll find a snake for a tail, too...

One year I was Hermione! It was really fun, because the same year my friend was Harry, so we went trick-or-treating together. And our younger brothers were both Darth Vader.

My sister and I will both be Wonder Woman for this Halloween.

We are going to make skirts out of this white stars on blue backround fabric and sew red shirts to the skirts. Then we will paint some boots red and put white tape on them and make crowns, cuffs, and lassos.

The reason I am saying we will is because the fabric and boot paint is coming in the mail and is not here yet nooooooo.

I was going to ask my friend that's a boy to be Harry, but it slipped my mind... *sigh*.

In 5th Grade he followed me everywere, and he looks kinda similar to Harry wiht his black hair and stuff, and I look pretty similar to Hermione, so we greatly resemble the two. There's just no Ron because I don't really have another friend that's a boy who is always around me.

We don't usually celebrate Halloween, but this year, my friend and I are hoping to get together and just hang out, but still dress up. She's going as a minion from Despicible Me, and I'm going as Agnes from the same movie. Next year we might go as R2-D2 and C3-PO.
