CBer Olympics!!!! Okay everbuggy, I've had this idea for a while, but it is going to require almost all of the Cbers here to participate. I was thinking, we'd take the three months of winter to have a series of writing events here on CB. There will be two teams. I will designate a Team captain for each team. Each team will go through a series of 'trials.' Like a short story competition, RP contest, maybe find some way to make a ski lodge contest of some sort, that kind of thing. Now, I know that this is a large undertaking, and I was thinking that for each team we could have certain people participate in certain events. Now, say, if someone wanted to compete in all of the competitions, that would be great. But we also could have these people over here specalize (or compete) in short story. If that is where your talent lies. Or RPing. Each event will take place on separate threads which I will create. Now, this sounds huge , but it really isn't. Now I need everyone to join. And I would appreciate a few helping me out as well. We'll need a few to volunteer as judges for the contests. I will be a judge, and an organizer. Well, I've said my piece. Even if your a cber that only looks through RPs and never posts, you're more than welcome. PLEASE JOIN!!! We'll iencounter variables and problems along the way, but we'll figure them out as we go along, and most of all, have fun!

Maybe for the Ski Lodge you could give everybuggy a charrie and a way to die, and then we could each write the day that charrie dies.

I am still not sure about this after reviewing it several times, but, BUT if I understood it better then I would feel more inclined to join. I like the giant charrie sheet option that Joss suggested.

@Scylla: Basically, you can join any event you want. I'll assign each person to a team, and certain people will participate in the events of their choosing. Or you can participate in all events. It's up to you. Does that answer your question ?
Here's the team roster (and Scratch the captain idea, that would be too confusing. Unless there are objections to that):
Team One: Regina, Elvina, Cho C, balletandbow, moonshadow, Horse Spirit Girl, Joss, Applejaguar,and Cayke
Team Two: Leafmist, poetic panda, micearenice, kitty girl, Bibliophile, OtR, Shadow Dragon, Curio, Dragonrider
If anyone would like to be judges, let me know! If you would like to be a judge, I would prefer you not to participate in the events themselves; feel free to comment and do stuff like that though. But we'll figure out all of that later.
