Guys! Guess what!

Guys! Guess what!

I'm writing a manual!

For young theatre kids!

....and I need your help.

So basically what you can do on this thread is post tips and tricks for acting, singing, and dancing; you can post short summaries of any plays you know of;you can post theatre terms and definitions; and basically you can post anything theatre related that would be good in a manual for theatre kids. I will post it on CB once it's finished, and maybe I will try to publish it. MAYBE. Maybe not.

Thanks for reading!

I will be posting too.

Cool. You have my full (although probably not the most helpful) support.

Mine too, though it most likely won't do you much good. My local theater is strange. But cool, so that's okay. I would print out your manual and give it to them.

When I first started, I was really confused about what a "greenroom" was. It's basically a room where the cast hangs out before/after/during the show (when their cue isn't coming, that is).

Also, boys do wear makeup in theatre. Just a warning, because many boys don't know this and are surprised, and many girls are surprised when they see the boys in mascara! (Now, this doesn't mean they have to know how to put it on. Most male castmembers go running to the girls to help them figure out to not stab themselves with the eyeliner.)

More later, if I think of it.
