Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

CAPTCHA place!!!!!!!!!!!!

CAPTCHA place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The mail arrives with a letter addressed to you. Once you take the letter, you go into the kitchen to open it. You open the letter with a screwdriver, since the letter was made out of iron and a had a padlock on it. But inside is a blank piece of paper. Suddenly, your pet CAPTCHA ran and took the piece of parchment. It muttered to you as it ran back to it's room;"Myne!" You follow it upstairs to it's room. You open the door and see your cute little furry CAPTCHA waving it's none-existent paws in the air and muttering; "port!" and "taal!!" over and over again. Suddenly, a supersonic boom goes into existence in the CAPTCHA's room. And there, where your CAPTCHA had stood a few milli-seconds before, was a portal. You jump into it right before it closes and leaves the house empty. The portal portals you to a land.... full of fluffy CAPTCHAs, where CBers talk about them, and where CAPTCHAs can talk normaly.

WOOHOOO YEAH!!!! Thiiiis place is where you talk about CAPTCHAs, adopt ones if you don't have one, and basicaly moon over how cute they are! Well,

Peace, Love, and Pie

Wingnut, Scylla drew a picture of us!

Note: When I turn into a cat, I'm a white cat with tan paws and tan markings above my eyes.

Okay, I'll start.

Scylla walked out of her house, carrying Hallia (who was in cat form) in her arms. She crossed the sidewalk to meet Aquina, who arrived in the same manner, only carrying Wingnut (also in cat form) rather than Hallia. Scylla smiled at Aquina, her scarred face brightening. "Well," she said. "I guess this is it." Aquina nodded anxiously. "I guess. Wingnut, don't forget to wash yourself every so often, make sure you eat regularly, don't do anything too rash, and be nice. If anything bad happens, then just-"

"I'm sure they'll be fine," Scylla interrupted. Burying her face in Hallia's soft cream fur, she added, "I'm going to miss my lil Hallia, though... Be good, sweet girl." Hallia just purred. Scylla turned back to Aquina. "Let's see them off to the woods," she suggested. Aquina nodded again and followed Scylla over to the woods-the boundary from CBer Land to CAPTCHA Land, the place where only CAPTCHAs could roam. She carefully set Hallia down. The small cat reared up to touch her nose to Scylla's cheek, twining her tail around Scylla's hand. Then she sat patiently to wait for Wingnut, who was being smothered by Aquina. "Let up, Aqui," Scylla murmured.

"Oh, alright, Scy. Bye, Wingnut and Hallia."

"Goodbye, Wingnut and Hallia," Scylla echoed. The two CBers left in silence, Hallia and Wingnut watching them leave.

"Okay, I think we're good to go," Hallia meowed after a while. "Come on, Wingnut!" Her eyes glowed. "Aren't you excited?" The bigger cat grinned. "Sure am! Race you to that tall tree over there!" The two pelted away from the border, tails streaming behind them. Hallia shifted into a fleet-footed deer, bounding ahead of Wingnut to touch the tree. Wingnut caught up moments later as Hallia shifted back into a cream furred cat. "Hey!" he panted. "That's... That's cheating!"

Hallia purred, tracing her tail along the brown tabby's flank. "Utilize the resources you have," she meowed teasingly. Wingnut purred back. "I don't care if you 'utilize your resources' or not, I'm just glad to be with you." Hallia smiled. "I am, too."

Your turn, Wingnut!

The two cats rested, side by side, in a sunny patch of clearing.

They both rolled around to get the best sunny spot- and found themselves touching noses.

"Oh- Hallia-oops" said Wingnut.

At the exact same time, Hallia said "Oh, sorry!"

Then they both started laugh-purring and rubbing against each other.

Wingnut climbed up a tree positioned over a river and prepared to jump.

"Watch this, Hallia!"

He jumped...

and shapeshifted in midair

and then back-

to land in the river as a cat.

"Eck! Ugh! Water!"

Hallia laughed herself almost to bits about that silly stunt.

Once in the water, Wingnut switched into catfish form and darted away. "Bet you can't catch me!" he hollered back to Hallia. (Yes, fish can holler. Get over it.) Hallia leaped into the river after him, switching into a swift trout. Once on the shore, they both came back to cat form. "What- what-" Wingnut stuttered. Hallia cuffed him playfully over the ear. "You forget I can shapeshift too," she purred. Wingnut attempted to scowl, but immediately broke back into a smile. "It's impossible to stay mad at you," he mewed. Hallia just grinned. The two padded in companiable silence through the forest until they reached a clearing. There was a crystal-clear pool in the center, a stream rushing through it. Wingnut watched it. "Come on," he meowed eagerly to Hallia. "Let's swim there!" Hallia eyed it warily. "I don't know, Wingnut... It seems kind of... sacred, I guess." Wingnut nodded. "Okay. We shouldn't disturb it."

Ah! Sorry!

The pool glimmers, sparkling. Slowly, as the cats watch, their reflections begin to form on the surface of the pool.

It showed them, but different. Both their ears were noched with scars and theirfur was less fluffy, more ragged.

Then the picture changed. As the two cats watched in awe, a picture of a bay appeared.

There they saw, perched on a cliff, a scaly brown-green figure. It was huge.

"That's Scylla!" Hallia whispered. "I've only seen her that big twice!"

And thein their gaze focused on the water. It started to bubble.

A figure, almost as big as Scylla slowly rose to the surface. It had a tiny human figure sitting on its head.

"T-that's Aquina's kraken..."

The whisper came from Wingnut.

Hallia's ears perked. "Hey! This pool shows us what our CB'ers are doing while we're in the woods!"

Wignut grinned. (Yes, he probably has Chesire Cat ancestors) "They wouldn't ever get on without us keeping an eye on them. But what are they doing?"

Scylla: Just so you know: I can turn into an emerald green sea serpent. I can't come on land in my serpent form.

Hallia: On with the story!

•∆•∆•

"I don't know," Hallia said. "But maybe it's their adventure? Maybe we should continue our own."

Wingnut contemplated this, and finally answered, "Maybe.... I don't know, Hallia."

The cream she-cat gazed pleadingly at the darker tabby. "Please? Well, how would you feel if it were them watching us?"

Wingnut gave in. "Alright. Let's go."

Hallia smiled, twining her tail with Wingnut's. "I don't know," she mewed in response. "Scylla always says, 'Just go where the current takes you whether you like it or not' so perhaps we should do so?" Wingnut purred. "I like that." Hallia nuzzled his cheek, glancing at the pool one last time. Then the two cats padded away.

•∆•∆•

The pair made their way through the woods, leaping over undergrowth and enjoying themselves. A leaf fluttered down and Wingnut leaped to catch it, striped brown pelt rippling. The leaf, caught in a breeze, drifted away. Wingnut sat on his haunches, disappointed. Hallia flicked his nose with her tail tip. "Wingnut," she meowed, voice full of affection. Wingnut stood up, rubbing her cheek with his muzzle. Suddenly, he tensed. "What was that?"

"What was what?"

A bush rustled.

"That," Wingnut hissed.

Hallia stood alert as well, tail still. She crept over the leaves, careful not to make a sound, and snuck up on the bush. Then, as she was about to pounce, out tumbled a.....

a thing. Both of them stared at it. It was... odd. It was meade out of litlle letters, and it hopped around in circles.

'mfwh' it said.

"That's a CAPTCHA!" Both of the cats said at once.

"Poor thing, it doesn't have a CB'er to give it a personalty or a home." sighed Hallia, rubbing against the unnamed CAPTCHA who, said 'thyu'.

"And without a CB'er, it can't even talk! Only say  four-letter words and hop around." said Wingnut.

The little CAPTCHA hopped around, then pointed it's little head and said 'flme!' 'flme!'

"It wants us to follow it" said Hallia, pensivley.

"Let's go!" Wingnut bounded away after the little CAPTCHA, striped brown tail waving. Hallia leaped after him.

The three padded through the forest, sunlight dappling the two cats' pelts. Hallia tried to focus on the letters making up the unclaimed CAPTCHA, but found she couldn't make them out. It was strange - She knew they were letters, but couldn't tell which ones. The CAPTCHA was in the shape of a small squirrel, capering ahead of Hallia and Wingnut and occasionally pausing so they could catch up. Wingnut trotted alongside it, attempting to make conversation. "What's your name?"he asked, somewhat insensitively. "Nonm*," the CAPTCHA answered miserably. "Yett," it added. Shooting a glare at Wingnut, Hallia mewed gently, "I'm Hallia. My friend is Wingnut. It's nice to meet you!"

"Hala, Wing **..." the CAPTCHA mused. "Nice tmet utoo. ***"

"When you're adopted, what would you like your name to be?" Wingnut asked kindly.

"Igld with antin ****," it responded, bouncing a little at the prospect of being claimed. Hallia purred. "Where are we going?" she inquisited politely. "Smwr*`," the CAPTCHA responded. "Alright. Crfc," Hallia murmured, mostly to herself. And at that moment, they emerged into....
