Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Ten million dollar reward!!!!

(This is the real one. We apologize for any inconvenience.)

Just come to our laboratory on a date to be confirmed later on in April this year. And no, this is not a joke! All you have to do is sit through a couple of painless and harmless tests, and the money is all yours! Space is limited, so register now by sending in the form below; the first six people to apply will be admitted.

Name:

Age:

Gender:

Hobbies, interests, and skills:

Next of kin:

What you will do with the money after you receive it:

Other:

In smaller print, it specifies how you must complete the entire form to be admitted, how their special train will pick you up, and other boring things like that. In even smaller letters it says something about how the Addison B. Miller Elite Biotechnological Laboratory is in no way accountable for the death or harming of any of their patients, but you barely notice. The million dollar reward is all you can think of. What will you ever do with that?

Important note:

Please specify any AEs or CAPTCHAs as well. New installments will be posted once or twice a week. Also please note that it may take a little while for the plot to thicken-- but all in good time, all in good time. Keep reading. You just have to have a little patience.

Part Two
The train slowed down and jolted to a stop, and Elvina closed her book, only half-reluctantly. She had been right at the most exciting part, but she could not forget the ten million dollar prize waiting for her. For the past few days, all she had been able to think about was the grand library she'd have built right down the road from her house with the new money. The Greenwood Library, it would be called. People would come from near and far just to read her extensive new collection of books. And she would use the rest of the money to plant trees and save forests. Elvina tried not to dwell on the irony of using hundreds of trees to build and stock her library.
The door of the train car slid open, and the ramp was lowered directly into a warehouse-like room in the style of a metro platform.
Elvina had no idea where she was or even how far away she was from home, but she saw her friends Mirax, Parker, and Balletandbow, and hurried over to them with Legolas in her pocket. Close behind her ran an exasperated Joan with impish Puck at her heals.
"Joan! Give me back my pranks!"
"No, Puck. Not since you almost used them to explode the train! And I know you would've gone through with it, if Sir Galahad hadn't warned me first."
"Mrdv?" asked Joan's CAPTCHA.
"Yes, you. Anyway, Puck, I was pretty sure that man was about ready to kick us out. And that can't happen if we want to get the money!"
"You are going to get the money," Puck corrected grumpily. "Please, Joan, if you give me back my pranks will you give me, oh, let's say two million?" She grinned winsomely.
"What kind of a deal is that? Besides, you'll steal all of it and more anyway."
"I'll give you a back massage..."
Puck reached out and started tickling Joan, who shrieked and tried to run away, but it was hard to run in a full suit of armor, and Puck was too fast.
"Is this everyone?" Balletandbow asked impatiently, ignoring Joan and Puck.
"We are still waiting for Miss Shadow Dragon," an escort replied nasally.
---------------------
Shadow Dragon was thinking. Through her half closed eyes, she saw the nervous young man who was supposed to be looking after her stare for awhile, then pace, then clear his throat, then clear his throat louder.
The poor man was too afraid of her to try and wake her up to get her out of the train car. Shadow felt sorry for him. Wait, no. Actually, she didn't. It's cowardly people who tickle a dragon's pride.
Should she get out of the train car? The ten-million-dollar check might make a nice pillow...
Shadow fell asleep again.

We'd really like to keep writing this story, but if nobody answers our question, we won't know where to go next, and there's really no point to write a ski lodge that no one is reading :(.
