ART POSTING

(Subject not going through....Third time's the charm...??)

Art stuff thread starting...NOW!  If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff!  I would love to see other people's art so post away!  They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff.  You can use any media, including digital, like I do!  Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other.  Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN!  If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing.  Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from.  You don't have to be polished with your art.  I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon.  I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why.  I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that.  If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

Going to post a picture of my OC, Tuxedo, if this post goes through okay.

That is the most gorgeous cat I have ever seen. I love your mini t-rex very much. Also, the colors in your drawings are beautiful!

Funny enough, in that photo, she was actually trying to jump through the open window! (You can't see the open part in the photo.) We moved over the summer, and we let her go outside for the first time a couple days ago (on a leash). She lost her outdoor privileges because she tried to hope over the fence. Now she's trying to escape by any means possible, including jumping out of a second story window. I still love her.

@Coyotedomino,

I made them using model magic, an air dry clay that's REALLY cool and weird feeling. For the first one, I rollled the clay into thin stripes, and then twirled them around each other

For the usual pride one, I rolled all the colors into  thin stripes, and laid them all next to each other, then I sort of scooted them together.

For the third one, I again, rolled them into three strips except they were thick, then I flattened them all next to each other.

I drew "myself," really my CB appearance, except the face looks nothing like me, so...

Wow, I love the cat features! I always find the face the hardest to do. Most of my faces look nothing how I want them too. :P

Product of last night? One Florence + the Machine fueled drawing. The lyrics are from the Beatles and I added them later.

Wow! I actually made a drawing similar to this a week ago! It's at school but I might post it when I bring it home. I really love this, Burry, it's amazing!

Woah, I love the hair! It’s so wild and expressive. Your handwriting is really nice too!

The lines were drawn physically with a permanent marker. The skin tone was changed digitally to preserve the distinction between me irl and me on the CB. I guess that's art, too, though.

Whoa, that is incredibly cool! That pattern is so intricate. I’m often tempted to draw on my hands, but I’m never quite brave enough. I’m always worried I’ll mess up and then have something weird that I don’t want on my hand until it washes off. Maybe I should try sometime though, something subtle. You’ve inspired me.

Wow, that's super cool! It looks almost like a really convoluted maze. Like Leeli, I now want to draw something on my hands too.

Thanks, guys. Permanent marker is surprisingly easy to get off, by now there’s nothing on my palm and only a little on the back, and I didn’t even actively try to take it off. Smaller stuff will come off faster, but if you’re still worried you can use regular pen, which is super easy, barely an inconvenience to remove.

I'm trying to come up with a "persona" of sorts because I'd sort of like to make an online channel.
