(Subject not going through....Third time's the charm...??)
Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

Ah this wonderful drawing I'm in love with (figuratively). The girl who is right side up with the skirt is named Violet (probably because her hair is like Violet Baudelaire or maybe bc of her skirt, but whatever it is, her name just came to me like she was telling me). The upside down girl with the pink hair is Daniela. (When trying to figure out what her name is [bc she wouldn't tell me! Rude] I said to my friend, "Oh maybe Carla for her name? Or Daniela? Or Nina? …now I’m just naming characters in In The Heights…" this same friend, when shown the drawing said, "that looks gay" [as a compliment] she also thought it was based off a story about the waves and the moon? Dunno)
ANYWAYS I'm really proud of it. And it doesn't have any background. But I want a story to them.... but I found a word to describe this type of art maybe? Non-objective?

Ah yes, Dawn. I drew her yesterday instead of, again, what I should be doing. I love the colors of everything... her dress was SO HARD though! But it was so worth it. I mean it so pretty so I love it. Also thanks my bff for showing how a pointe shoe is tied!

Your art always has this sort of dynamism and vividness to it that feels so effortless and natural but still grabs the viewer's attention. I especially love the art you posted on the last page, but these are really good too :)

Another dancer drawing of mine. This is Pheonix. Unlike Dawn, who does more ballet, lyrical, and the like, they do jazz, tap, and hip-hop and the like.
