New and Improved Lord of the Rings!
What it sounds like. The old Lord of the Rings thread is going to the Wargs, so I'm setting up a newer, better one. A new blade of the old metal ;)
The way I hope this is going to work is like this-- I'm going to publish a number of comments, in bold type, one that says only 'Questions' one that says 'Discussion' and so on. All the comments should be published beneath the bold that pertains to it-- so all the questions go under the 'Questions' comment, etc. Let's see if this works! :)

I'm switching this up a little. Not only do you have to guess who I am, you have to guess who my character is, using the quotes. Bonus points if you know where this character lives at the end of tRotK. Don't try to guess the age, it's never revealed. Here's your first quote:
"I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend."
And it's cheating to use the internet or an e-book to look it up. But you can use your paper-copies if you can't guess.
