Technological Resort Murder Mystery!
You wake up and look at the alarm clock. 6:00. Good, You think. I'll get onto Cricket. You feel for your tablet on the nightstand and pick it up. There's a stickey note on it saying:
Take train number 11.
Ha ha, You think. That's probably my little brother pranking me. Again. You enter the passcode, the note still clutched in your hand. Then the ground opens up beneath you.
You land in a dimly lit underground... train station. A rocket train comes to a silent halt, and one of those robotic female "calm" voices announces, "Now boarding for train 11." You still have the tablet and the note, and you look at the note. Train number 11, it says. So you board the train and take a seat, for what reason you don't really know. You turn over the note and see on the back, in tiny letters,
The train will take you to our Technological Resort*. All expenses on the trip will be paid for, and murders are prohibited!** We hope you enjoy your stay!***
-Sincerely, Manager of the Technological Resort.
*Give the ticket-taker this note.
**Mostly prohibited, that is.
***Month-long stay, all expenses paid for.
Man, that person likes asterix! you joke to yourself. You've heard of these places, but, all the same... It sounds cool, and all expenses paid for? I think I'll go!

I'd like to join! This is my first one, and I have little idea what Im doing, but oh well. :D
I'd like to note that I might leave if this gets crass or grotesque. Which sounds very bigot-y and prim and presuming and generally unsavory. Sorry. D:
I am packing:
Edythe, one of my AEs, because I feel like I'm going to need her.
Just a moment-- PACKING?!?!?!?!?!?!
All right, All right. She will be coming also, of her own free will. And I don't advise anyone to try to kill her off. She is very handy with a pole.
I am also packing:
A slender, rather twiggy wand of elm, which contains enough power to defend me and to possibly transport me away if things get gory ;)
A back-up dagger.
A back-up back-up dagger.
A pole like Edythe's, which has a sharp metal point on one end (used for catching on to and pushing off of mountain-sides and crevices, and also for jabbing at potential murderers) a hollow inside (in which handy things can be stored) and other properties.
A harp (might come in handy)
A nuthatch, to carry messages and be generally pleasant.
A jumbo bag of pretzels. (Hey, why not?)
A bottomless pot of rice. (Even victims get hungry!)
A handy water-bottle. (To ward off dehydration!)
My entire Tolkien library (A must-have)
A large notebook (One never knows when Inspiration will call-- it never sends word beforehand)
A Pilot pen (the best in my opinion)
A pencil (obvious)
An eraser (for when the pencil-eraser breaks off)
And that's it! (I think.) I'm not bringing Ginger, because I'm not about to let him get murdered, and Hazelle is staying with him to look after him (and also because I won't have time for answering questions between mysterious deaths). I'm pumped. When do we start? ;)

Oh, yes, and I have an inconvenient-last-minute question: Does anyone ever survive these little day-trips? I've never seen one all the way to the end. Does anyone win? (besides the sinister murderer, naturally) ;)
