I think we should do a quote guessing game fo Hamilton. Smile

That would be awesome! We could also do a finish the lyric type game. For example, I might say

"There are moments when the words don't reach"

and someone else would finish it by saying the next part

"There is suffering too terrible to name"

and then they could either give a new lyric to finish, or let the song continue untl someone else changes it.

"You hold your child as tight as you can

You push away the unimaginable"

Ok, this song is too sad, so I am starting a new one!

"Two Virginians and an immigrant walk into a room

Diamatrically opposed -

Foes."

They emerge with a compromise, having opened doors that were

Previously closed

Bros

I know It's Quiet uptown is a very sad song. It just happened to be what was playing in my earbuds as I typed the post. Anyways, since I'm already making a post I'll continue The Riddler's lyric...

"They emerge with a compromise

having opened doors that were

Previously closed

Bros"

The immigrant emerges with unprecedented financial power

A system he can shape however he wants

The Virginians emerge with the nation's capital

And here's the piece de resistance

No one else was in the room where it happened, the room where it happened, the room where it happened (x2)

No one really knows how the game is played

The art of trade

How the sausage gets made

We just assume that it happens

But-

No one else is in the room where it happens . . .

Aaagh I can't believe I've only been on this thread once! I'm continuing the song~

"Thomas claims-"

"Alexander was on Washington's doorstep one day

In distress and disarray"

"Thomas claims -"

"Alexander said-"

"I've nowhere else to turn!"

"And basically begged me to join the fray."

"I approached Madison and said 'I know you hate him, but LET's hear what he has to say'."

"Well, I arranged the meeting. I arranged the menu, the venue, the seating."

"BUT!"

Uhh, HamiltonLover? You use the exact same location and age field as I do. I noticed this on a picturing (I think?) thread, and I just really want my location field to be original, because we all have our own location fields that we always use--Lap R. uses BLA-BLAM! even.

Sorry to interrupt the Hamilton Hype, but I don't really want anyone to think you're me.

Sorry Tongue out

I'd consider it a compliment if someone used my same location. Just please don't copy other people's names, because that would be confusing.

Hey guys! Did you know they're showing Hamilton on the Chicago Broadway starting September 17!!?? I really wanted to go (because I live not too far away from Chicago) but the tickets were all sold out- and the cheapest resale one was $500! So no. But I'd love to hear all about Hamilton. It sounds really great, and I hope I can see it someday!

P.S. Someone really needs to make it into a movie, don't you think?

Only if it's a film with the original cast!

And they did record a performance with the original cast, they said so. We're just waiting to see if they're going to release it.
