Singin' in the Rain!
This is a movie from the '50's, and I was wondering if any of you guys had seen it and/or enjoyed it. I certainly do! I've always loved Cosmo Brown, but Don Lockwood and Kathy Selden (RIP Debbie Reynolds) will always have a special place in my heart.
So what about you guys? Favorite characters? Songs? Scenes? Etc. Let the conversation commence!

All the dancing scenes! Especially the "Good Morning" and "Singing' in the Rain" dances. Watch the latter, then seek Kurt Browning "Singin' in the Rain" and watch Kurt figure skate the same steps on ice!

Same, BooksyBear! Sadly, I haven't seen any 50s musicals (that I know of). As of now, that's on my bucket list now. :)

I love Singin' In the Rain!
@ Poetic Panda, I have seen AND enjoyed it-- several times, thanks to my sister. I agree that Cosmo Brown is hilarious! Favorite song has gotta be Make Them Laugh. Scenes-- the same.
@ Admins-- The dancing scenes are HILARIOUS! I agree, I really love the Good Morning dace with the raincoats. I haven't seen the Kurt Browning version, but I will check it out!
@ Booksy Bear-- I don't think I like any other 50s musicals, but even so, I'm sure they are great. Do you have any more favorites? Make 'Em Laugh is definetely the best scene, with Good morning a close second!!
Hey everyone who loves Singin' in the Rain enough to check out this post: it's coming back to the big screen! Where I live, at least. Maybe not in other places... but check and see.

Ooh; I love all of the songs in "Singing in the Rain!" I was just thinking of the song "make them laugh," the other day, and every time it rains over where I live, I randomly jump outside on the tramp, or somewhere outside and start singing and dancing "Singing in the Rain." :) It's a catchy tune.

I love Singing In the Rain! I think my favorite character is that comedian whose name I forget. The one who sings,

@Applejaguar, you're thinking of Cosmo Brown, or Donald O'Connor. I love him, and the Moses song, too! We're actually working on vowel shapes in class, and I keep thinking of earlier in that scene with the vowel sounds, if you know what I mean. Sorry I'm being vague, I find myself to be a bad explainer sometimes. :/
@Everyone, UGH, THIS MOVIE IS COMING TO THEATRES NEAR ME AND I WANTED TO SEE IT SO BAD BUT DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER MY MOM SAYS IT'S LOOKING UNLIKELY THAT WE'LL GO NOW so I'm upset. :( But hey, it also comes next Tuesday, so maaaaybe we can go then. I'll keep you guys updated! In the meantime, keep on singin'!
