NAMES!

I've always been curious about names. I love their meanings, their history, everything! Now that I'm on the Chatterbox, I'm more curious than ever. Why did you pick the name you did? Is there some meaning behind it? Or is it just pretty? A mix of both, perhaps?

Answer as little or as much as you want!

Here's the story behind mine:

My best friend and I were making a Wings of Fire fanfic together. We decided which tribe we wanted to be. She decided MudWing, and I decided NightWing. (They don't get enough credit! They really are amazing!) We came up with the names Maloo (for her; it's an imaginary white flower with magical properties that grows in the MudWing's home) and Starseeker for me. In addition to reminding me of my friends, the name Starseeker reminds me to reach for the stars and never be afraid to go for my goals.

Wow. That's deep.

Wven if yours isn't that deep, I still want to hear your name's story!

Well, at the timw, I was OBSESSED with Warrior Cats, right? And there was this writing club at my library called Inklings. I tried many others, such as Bloodmoon (with I SERIOUSLY thought about...eww..), Dirtpelt (yuck), etc. And one of the names I wrote down was Inktail. And that's how I came to be! Think what you will, there you go.

@Inktail:

I totally get it! I really liked Warriors too! I think everyone has had a Warriors phase at one point or another...

I choose pheasantwithbooks cuz some friends at my volleyball practices and I made ourselves a winglet (yes winglet like from wings of fire lol) And we named ourselves after some of the dragons, and they chose the name Pheasant for me. So when I found out about this totally awsome website I decided to go with my winglet name... Pheasantwithbooks.
