Musical Theater!!!!

~~~
This is the official Musical Theater club, fangirl/boy area, and to talk about your favorite musicals! This is about all stage preformances that include songs, no matter what genre. (I honestly need help and information on Le Mis--I'm bad at spelling the whole thing--as long as what you share is appropriate and you don't discuss the show's, say, quirks. You can mention that "it's innapropriate!" with any innapropriate musical as long as you don't specify.)
Here's my list of musicals that you should give the music a listen or watch. Some of these are shows that are preformed onstage as musicals. How many of these have you heard of?
I'll start of with Cats, then really any Disney show turned into a musical, Into the Woods, A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story (It's honestly pretty catchy), Seussical the Musical (Weeelll...if you have a younger sibling, that is), Hairspray (Jr. when the original version's innapropriate), Mary Poppins (not entirely Disney when it's onstage), Hamilton, Le Mis, Oliver (And yes. A said character still gets killed in the Jr version.), Annie (Which I'm obsessed with, no regrets here), The PhaAAAAAaaantom of the Ope--I mean, the Phantom of the Opera, Matilda (YES.), and Newsies.
Any I missed? I know I forgot a few....
Enjoy! ^-^
Ooh, I've heard of all of them, and although I haven't seen them, I love listening to Hamilton, Into the Woods, and Les MIs!
Also a couple that I think you'd like are Dear Evan Hansen, In the Heights and Wicked!
I was Little Red's granny. It was a town production for kids 1st-8th grade.
I just want to add Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, and The King and I. The King and I is old and a little racist, but Great Comet is amazing and fun and smart.
Some of my favorite musicals are Dear Evan Hansen, In The Heights, The Great Comet, Les Mis, Waitress, Be More Chill, Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, Newsies, and Wicked!
A few musicals (Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, Waitress, and some other musicals) are coming to the city where I live next year (sadly I have to wait for a year), and we're going to see a couple of them!
