What you are

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

What you are

What you are wearing thread!

I am a new Cber, and to get used to what Chatterbox is all about I was looking through some old threads. I stumbled upon a few "What you are wearing" threads and I thought I would make one of my own!

Today I wore black leggings, a long-sleeved black shirt, and a skirt I got recently. The skirt is black with red floral patterns on it, and a line of buttons are down the front. I wore tawny brown shoes that were lined with fur, and neon emoji socks underneath (That's just between us ;)). My hair was half curled in an attempt to style it while rushing out the door, resulting in it coming up just enough to frame my face.

Share your outfits if you'd like :)

Today I’m wearing my birds-rainforest-city-umbrella shirt over a plain olive long-sleeve, my flared jeans, my leopard-spotted jacket, and the usual hiking socks, sneakers, watch and black ring.

I love this thread!

I'm wearing blue jeans, a purple sweatshirt that reads "London Grove Friends" and black boots with fringe. Very exciting. I know.

Today I wore my hair down with a black beanie on (I was cold), my black Bob Ross hoodie, my vintage baggy light blue/weathered jeans, and my black platforms. I also had on a black thumb ring that winds around my thumb.

I'm wearing a red zip-up hoodie over my usual yellow pullover hoodie with a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes. My hair is in a poofy ponytail and my glasses are rain-flecked since I didn't have time to dry them off after walking to the library near my school(which is where I am now).

To those who don't know, it's raining cats and dogs here! It's amazing and I love it so much, we get to have a fire and wrap ourselves in blankets with our favorite books! I'm going to start reading Name of the Wind, apparently it's really good and the author appeared on Critical Role(kudos if you know what that is)!

Today I’m wearing a black tank top, my loose-knit cropped jade sweater, olive chinos and light grey hiking socks. Yesterday I wore a black t-shirt, gray capris and black over-the-knee socks. My hair has also been behaving itself these past few days, which is an incredible novelty that I hope I can get to continue.

Today was nothing special-- new tennis shoes (funny story about what happened to my old ones, if you're interested, post a comment and I'll explain!), black leggings underneath ripped skinny jeans, purple shirt with "BOULDER" written across it (my aunt went there), black sweater. Now I've changed into just the black leggings, black high heeled combat boots (I wear them a lot, if you can't tell), the same shirt, hair in a half-ponytail bun, and I've swtiched out my contacts for big purple nerd-style glasses.

Haha, alright...

So it was a couple'a months ago at 7 am marching band practice. In marching band, we have these things called 'coordinate sheets', which tell us where to go and when. Needless to say, they are important. Most people hang their coordinate sheets on a lanyard around their necks; but for more daring (or lazy) people, a pocket will do just fine. It was incredibly windy that day out on the football field where we practiced. I'm working a drill with the clarinet section and I suddenly hear a shout from across the football field. A french horn player had dropped his coordinate sheet-- not on a lanyard-- and it was blowing across the field, straight at us. It blew past us and another clarinet and I ran after it. It got stuck for a split second on a blade of "grass" (whatever that weird plastic stuff is) and so the other clarinet stopped to pick it up. But then the wind resumed and it blew away again. I was some ways behind him (he's a cross country runner, what can I say) so I was still running when the wind resumed. Seeing that it was about to blow off the field and down the hill and into the street, I lunged for it. (And these things are tiny. About the size of your hand.) My toe got stuck on something, I tripped, and I basically tackled the coordinate sheet. I say "basically" because I actually fell flat on my face (literally-- it hurt) with my hand barely on top of the coordinate sheet. The other clarinet (the cross country dude) carefully slipped it out from underneath my hand and gave it back to the french horn. By this point the other clarinets had come over (it was hard to miss me falling flat on my face) and they helped me up. (I was not seriously hurt, luckily. Just laughing.) Alas, there was a casualty that day. Although the coordinate sheet was saved, my left shoe was not. When I tripped, my toe had gone all the way through my shoe, ripping a good sized hole into my favourite pair of tennis shoes. (And by good sized, I mean that my toes were falling out of it. Yeah.) Luckily I had an extra pair of tennis shoes in my locker (it had been raining that week, and I hate wet shoes) so everything turned out alright. It's a good story to tell.

Were you not holding your clarinet when you fell? Or were you practicing marching without instruments?

@Admins: luckily, we had been practicing the drill without instruments, so I didn't break my clarinet (or my nose) when I fell.

Or any teeth.

Right now I'm wearing some red, blue, and white stripes Adidas shorts (they're size medium, so they're kinda big on my v small frame) and just a plain white tee shirt.

I’m just about to get out of bed, but I haven’t yet (ah, homeschooling) so I’m still in my pajamas. Which I actually like a lot, so I decided to post them XD It’s a loose shirt that’s navy blue on the back and has a gradient on the front starting from navy/dark purple at the top and ending with aqua at the bottom, and it has white flecks all over it (it’s supposed to look like a starry night sky) and has the words ‘let’s find a place where we can see every star’ in white lettering. The pants are navy blue with purple drawstrings and a white constellation print. And my hair is in a braid (fun fact: since my hair is so long, I almost always sleep with it in a braid so it doesn’t get tangled and knotted in the night.)

Topping with an outfit.

Plain long-sleeve light grey semi-fitted t-shirt (adjectives), medium blue jeggings, white socks, and hair down. I’m boring today. xD
