Am I the lone Eraser on this thread? Funny chance that I should be. Or else not so. For though the discrete multitude is apt to play at Fortune’s fool, methinks the fay-fell world of Fate encompasses our mortal spheres in fancy only. Why then, this strange occurrence? What, is’t strange? How fitting, that the one whose art scarce ventures past the realm of sketch, should favor in a painted name that tool which cureth blemishes. As every universal thing is lost and lone without it’s like, or possibly some entity to complement its mind and make— so leapeth star to star, light to light, and amateur to her Eraser!
