The other one seems to have fizzled out, so I'll try to start it up again.
The theme is... Ink, or color! Or paint if you really want, whatever has to do with that kind of stuff. deadline should be in about 2 weeks, so... November 12 sounds good. Can't wait to see who joins!

And everything in between

I hope this is still alive, but here's mine anyway...I was kinda in a rush.
inkblots
fingers, stained with color,
a splattered sink
up in a third floor room, airless in a heat wave, a girl
sits immobilized in thoughtfulness
staring at a canvas
she wears shorts and there are streaks of blue paint down her legs
and on her t-shirt and there are
chipped paint dots on the floorboards around her and inkpots on all the windowsills
full of blue and purple
colors like water in a stream like sky in her eyes
like a basket of silk ribbons
waiting to be spread over bare paper or a wall
