Day 26, Dark.

I'm enjoying all your drawings, Leeli. I remember when I was about 5 or so and apprehensive of the dark, my oldest sister said to me: "Nothing can happen to you in the dark that can't happen in the daytime." Remembering her words made me braver.

Oh my word, Leeli! These are amazing! I absoluty love the detail on ghost and Ancient! I notice how you used different thickness of the ink to outline the walls. I really like it!

*rubs hands together* alright, here we go with a massive art dump! I'm still not caught up, but I'm significantly closer. First is day 12, dragon. This is one of the only drawings that isn't of a person.

This one is day 11, snow. I looked up stock photos and one of the first ones that came up was of a businessman in this pose (minus the wings, of course). It was just so absurd that I couldn't help drawing it. It's vaguely referenced off my friend, but not enough that there's actually a resemblance.

Day 15, legend! I knew immediately I wanted to draw Persephone, hence the toga and scythe. I was inspired by Rachel Smythe's rendering of Persephone in the webcomic Lore Olympus, as well as Bluebird's old drawing of a warrior-Persephone. I love the story of Persephone so much, I just ahhhhhh.

Day 19, sling! I don't have too much to say about this one.

(almost done, I promise!) Here's day 20, tread. Inspired by the movie Cinderella, also by the fact that I was just in the pit orchestra for the Rogers and Hammerstein version of Cinderella. Full disclosure, I inked this in the dark, so it's not a great showcase of my ability.

Day 21, treasure! My friend Hannah (who contributed to day 4, too, I think) wrote "haha. booty" on the opposite page, but I didn't put it in. Her comment, however, did inspire this drawing. (Admins, I'm decently sure this is appropriate for the CB, but let me know if it's not. I don't want to offend anyone or make anyne uncomfortable. :) )
