So this has been a subject of conversation on NaNo, but nobody's brought it up here. There's this awesome new musical by Averno called Willow, so I wanted to recommend that you guys listen to it! It's wonderful.
Anyway, this thread is for anything Willow-related. You can gush over how amazing it is, or talk about your favorite songs, or really anything. :)

I just learned about Averno through YWP! I haven't listened to all of Willow yet, but it's really good so far!!

Who is everyone's favorite character? I'd say mine is Cassia. She's sweet and honest, and she also breaks my heart the most. <33

I love them all so much, but my favorite character has to be Adelaide. Every song that has anything to do with her makes me cry, and Adelaide's Path resonates with me so much. I'm terrified of living a life that doesn't matter, of being average with no one left who loves me or thinks that I am remarkable, and Adelaide feels the same way and, when she meets Beatrice, she does something about it. And there are a lot of ands in this comment.

Oh, same! I can relate to all of the characters in one way or another, though, except Grace I guess.
Also, I would reccomend reading the Averno Bible, it's really cool and introduces you to Averno, which is really a whole universe of stories told by different people in different times, but all in the same town! It's so cool! And it kind of inspired me to start writing again, because the kind of stuff Averno has is basically the genre I want to write.

I agree. I think I even can relate to Grace too, at times, too, I think everyone can, although hopefully I'll never try to deal with pain the same way that she did. Besides Adelaide, I probably relate next most to Cassia and Meg, who also happen to be my next most favoite characters.
Could you link it to me in YWP? I'm having trouble finding it. I've looked at the Averno website a few times in the past week or so, but I haven't seen anything about the Averno Bible.

Hmm, I can't decide! I love them all SO MUCH.
I might say Beatrice? It's so hard to choose lol. But I just really love her personality and how she's not just typical and how... idk words are hard. But also Cassia is so sweet and nice. And Meg is like cute but also she's so brave and ahhhhh they're all wonderful.
Sorry for the nonsensical sentences. XD I'm not good at expressing things in words.

I would say my favorite song would have to be either Adelaide's Path or Lover's Quartet. And the saddest song is I'm Here for sure.

I love Willow!!! It's basically all I've been listening to for the past week and a half. I'm so glad everyone liked it so much. :) My favorite song is definitely Sweet Willow, probably followed by Twister and Lover's Quartet. I think my favorite character is Grace, really just because Twister is an awesome song, but I love Cassia too. The whole concept of the musical and the world is amazing and aaaaaa I love Willow!

Same! I'm pretty sure since like last Thursday I haven't listened to anything other than Willow. XD Not even Hamilton.
