Chatterbox: Pudding's Place
Night has fallen, and the watery light of the stars washes into your room through the open window. The weak illumination lights a glow in the space as you open one cabinet and drawer after the other, rummaging through the contents. Papers are strewn about the room and somewhere in the chaos a lamp got knocked over, but there's no time to go back and fix it.
You pause on the moonlight-stained floor. What are you looking for? You can't remember, but you know that it's important. The confusion creates a mist in your mind, but you shake it off and snap open another drawer. You can't stop, not now. Sitting in the drawer, perfectly positioned, is an envelope. The mist disperses as you get an instinctive feeling that this is what you are looking for, though you don't know what it is.
The envelope is surprisingly normal. Opening it, you find a postcard with a handwritten note scrawled in slanting handwriting that you have to squint to understand in the dim light. It reads:
Hello CBer,
My name is Hope. I am inviting you to a week-long trip to the Cryptic Caverns, a place in which you will find no shortage of adventure, fun and, quite possibly, danger. If you wish to come, fill out the form below, and the rest will be taken care of. I look forward to seeing you.

Hope
The form is tucked in the envelope, where you didn’t notice it before. You pull it out and flatten it against the table, picking up a pencil that had fallen to the ground from your desk. You rest the tip of the pencil on the form, debating whether to fill it out or not. The lack of information bothers yet intrigues you, and you can’t help but wonder what awaits on the other side of the form submission. If things go wrong, you can always just leave, right?
You hesitantly fill out the form.
As soon as you’ve finished, the paper seems to heat up until you take your hand off of it for fear of being burned. The postcard, envelope and form curl into ashes as a turquoise flame engulfs them.
Your fate is sealed.
It has begun.

Yes, this is a Ski Lodge, though not a normal one. The Caverns are not for the faint of heart or soul. Limit is 12-15 CBers; I can work with any amount of people. Starting date is in a week or so. I am not revealing who I am at first, but maybe I will allow people to guess me later.

Oh yay! It's a mystery to me why not many people have joined, this is one of the best ski lodge intros I've ever read.
