SINGING!!!!!! Does anyone

SINGING!!!!!! Does anyone love to sing? I'm in my school's choir which only has 20+ people because I go to a Catholic school. Anyway we only sing at school masses which are once a month. But today we sang at mass and did this song called The Song For World Peace. We did really awesome and it sounded really great. We had people singing the melody, alto, and descant. I did the descant and it was so fun. After we finished the song the priest, Father Carlos, said how great we were and got everyone to applaud which isn't supposed to be done at a Catholic mass. It was great! And my choir teacher, Mrs. Stone, is the best and she was so happy!

Wee singing! I love singing, but contrary to popular stereotyping I don't (and can't) sing in the shower. I, um, don't have enough skill at multitasking.

I'm in choir too (alto, how bout you?), but we have, um 56 people this year? And the alto section kind of blows. I'm the only one who can read music and there's about 6 people (out of like 17) who can sing by ear. The rest just kind of... bleh.

I sing soprano. I can read music and play some piano. Most people in my choir can read music and are musically inclined. But I'm the only seventh grader!! But I have some friends in 8th grade so it's ok.

TNÖ, I don't sing in the shower because I'm self conscious, I don't like it when people hear me sing... unless I have to, or it's in singing class.  :)

Hahaha, me, too! :):) When I was seven or something, my brother heard me singing in the shower, so he started making fun of me, so I've never done it again! :)

I sing!!!!  I have been taking group lessons for about four years, and just started taking private lessons as well, working towards classical singing, which could eventually evolve into opera!!!!

I love to sing.  In my opinion, I sound like a good singer.  I have never taken singing lessons, I just sing as well as I can.  I usually sing by hearing what I'm supposed to sing, thats what I did in Seussical.  Right now I'm obbsessed with singing songs that I've heard in tunes that are from other songs.  Sometimes I just sing nonsense words, and make up songs that I forget right after I sing them.

I adore singing! I like my voice when I hear it, but when I hear it recorded, it sounds gross. But I like to sing just for the joy of singing, and thankfully, I am lucky enough to have the ability to sing in the shower. It's one of my many accomplishments, in fact. *begins to sing very loudly and wakes up mother who seems to be unconscious on the couch* Is she, I am starting to wonder... *checks* Nope...

I take singing lessons. Congratulations on you and your choir! I am working on two songs, "As Long as I have Music," and "I Believe." They're really beautiful songs. Well anyway, bye! =)

When I was four, my friend made fun of me for singing badly at VBS.  I've never sung since. :) Seriously, I get offended pretty easily (although I never show it; I hide my emotions better than anybuggy I know, unless, of course, I'm at a computer; I have no self-control at a keyboard!), and it takes just one four-year-old to stop me from singing.  'Course, over the years, I've slowly begun to sing again.  Like, at my camp, my friends asked me why I don't sing, so I told them, and they immedietly forced me to sing, but, when I did, they actually said I was good. :) Haha, a guy who goes to Julliard said I was good at singing, so I guess I'm not as bad as I was when I was four. :) I always practice when I'm home alone. :)

It is my firm belief that all toddlers are tone deaf. Most smallish children, too... *looks pointedly at third/fourth grade choir in the elementary school*

Tone deaf.  Hmm...  I was smallish two years ago.  I don't think that I'm tone deaf, though maybe that person is.

I love to sing, because I'm good at it, despite what my sister says. I have a really good voice, and I like to use it.
