Playlist of Obscure Masterpieces

So a while back I recommended an obscure band I really liked, and I'm starting to realize that there's… A lot of obscure bands out there that are just awesome. So I thought I'd start a thread for one. Add to the Playlsit of Obscure Masterpieces - comment with the title and artist of a song you feel doesn't get enough attention. Do one song at a time, please, so when people go through it will be like a playlist of sorts - an index of songs to refer to. And if you add a song, try and listen to a few songs other people recommended too! Have fun!

This is a great idea!!! Perhaps we could also add the genre of music that applies to the song and artist? I think that would make it easier for people to find music they enjoy.

-Kisses Sweeter Than Wine, by Peter Paul & Mary (pretty much my favorite band ever! they deserve to be better-known! I mean they're not that obscure, but still...)

Well, a song that I'd really recommend (it's like literally one of my favorites ever) is "Romance del Conde Olinos", by Alalumbre Folk. It's in Spanish, but even if you don't speak Spanish just the instrumental and the sound of it is lovely :)

Age of Consent --- New Order

Great song, five minutes of pure unfiltered simplistic awesomeness.  Simple guitar riff and synth, but very good to just bop your head to, I get a nice boost of seratonin when it comes on.

Skillet in general, but particularly the song Victorious :)

(Skillet's genre is rock, but it's Christian rock, so there's no swearing in any songs which is very convenient.)

The Mind Electric by Miracle Musical. I don't even know what you'd describe the genre as. Just weird. Electric weird? Almost dream-like? It's not even words... It sounds like it's all sung backwards. And it's just perfect stimulation sounds I've had it on loop for like 30+ minutes and I've gotten a ton done-

Rise (cover) by Walk Off the Earth. Walk Off the Earth is a Canadian band that does covers of a bunch of songs and their music is so great.
