I'm a nun!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

I'm a nun!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a nun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At our local theater, rehearsal just started for Sound of Music, and the director put up a notice that said: Sound of Music needs more nuns.  So.... I called her and agreed.  Why am I so excited?  This is my FIRST show!  I've never done anything before.  Actually, I didn't even want to do this, but my mom made me.  My sister, the same one who was Dodger in Oliver, is in it (she's Liesel- she's a talented person, going from very boyish character, to extremely girlish character!) and so I figured I'd give it a try.  It's on an outdoor stage- a summer show.  I'm so excited!!!!!

Squee!!!  :)

Congratulations!  It's the start of a glowing career, I can feel it!

COOL! The Sound of Music is awesome as a stage production, and outside! That's really neat! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun!

So if they needed more nuns, how big is the cast?

I really don't know very much about the play... I haven't started rehearsal yet.  Nuns don't start until later. So I don't know how huge the cast is, but I assume it will be pretty big.  The indoor theater is very small, it only seats 100 hundred, so don't imagine some fancy theater.  :)  But it is the only theater here..... and the shows are always REALLLLLY good. Everyone knows about it!  Thanks so much Amy, Brynne, and Admins!!  :)

You're a nun!  I think you'll love acting!  And you'll like it even more if you like the story and songs and lines.

How big is the cast? Peter Pan (the play I'm in right now) has about fourty five people in it.

If you lived near St. Louis I would be like, I'll see another CBer!!!  'Cause in the summer in an outdoor theater near me The Sound of Music is going to be played.

Like I said, I'm not sure how big the cast is yet.  That would be so cool if I lived by you, Meadow, but I live in WA, pretty far away.  Hey, but my mom is in St. Louis right now!!!  She's visiting my grandpa!  You are close to a fellow-Chatterboxer's mom.  :)  Heehee, not that that means much.  :D

How is it, R~D~? Have you had a rehearsal yet?

I just found out I'm doing costumes and hair for Robin Hood, which is the next show here.

Woah!  That sounds so cool!!!!!  Do you like costumes and hair?  I haven't had rehearsal yet.  There are some issues with this play because all the organizers, and, well, basically the people who are there constantly besides the director, took the summer off, so it is very unorganized!  I think I'm going to start in June or early July.

How long do you have until the play? If I could actually go... That would be cool but somehow I doubt it's possible, especially if it's too soon.

Oh, well, the actual show starts in August, so there's a long way to go.  That would be awesome if you could go! But yeah, it does seem kinda hard for you.  I think you live a couple hours away from me.

Yeah. But it only depends where the show is being held.
