Most annoying little

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Most annoying little

Most annoying little kids shows ever!

I think the title speaks for itself, don't you?

Anyway, my least favorites ones are these (not nescessarily in this order):

1. The Wonder Pets. A few cute moments, but...just lacking in charm. The only part of the show I like is Ming-Ming. Linny is annoying, and Tuck is...okay, sometimes. At others-don't even get me started.

2. My Friends Tigger and Pooh. The minute I heard the song, I thought, "Oh no, not Winnie-the-Pooh too!" My friends, Tigger and Pooh, we're always there for each oth-er...Blegh. *gags* So different from good old, "Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood, where Christopher Robin plays, you'll find the enchanted neighborhood, of Christopher's childhood days..." A.A. Milne must be very unhappy. They messed up the instant they started making up stories that AAM didn't. And now look what's happened!

3. The Little Einsteins. I know that they, along with TWP (The Wonder Pets), are quite popular among older children, although I cannot see why. Well, obviously those older children who say, "Aw, they're CUTE!" don't have to watch them over and over and over for days and days and days...From the annoyingly catchy theme song to Annie's so-called "singing" to the little problems that can always be solved by playing the same segment of classical music over and over, they disgust me.

4. Frances. Maybe you haven't heard of this one (lucky you...). If not, she is an animated badger with human teeth who never goes outside, plays the piano, and acts like a brat and gets away with it. If you have...poor you.

5. Dora. I liked this for a while, now I don't know why. It was okay in the old days, now all of a sudden it's gotten annoying. *Sighs*...isn't that the truth with everything?

Well, there you have it. Feel free to rant about other shows, or add to my rant. Especially about Tigger and Pooh.

Andy P. C. says okiz. Maybe I did get a little carried away, he's saying, "Okeeez..." which translates to "Okaaaays..."

When I was little I watched Dora, Pokemon, and The Powerpuff Girls.

Yeah, the Wonderpets are annoying, but i know the theme song...

I have never seen My Friends Tigger and Pooh but in my school hallway there is a poster of them... don't ask why.

Ew. The Little Einsteins annoy me, because they are musicians, not mathmeticians.

I love AAM. It's cruel what they do to his stories. Just plain butchery. And the original stories are so funny and sweet and clever. Even the things that begin "Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood, where Christopher Robin plays ..." are dreadful, IMHO. The beginning of the first of the two original books: "Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there really is another way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment and think of it. And then he thinks perhaps there isn’t. Anyhow, here he is at the bottom, and ready to be introduced you. Winnie-the-Pooh." How is that not completely better in every way? It makes me so angry the things they do to them. AAM's books were some of my very favorites when I was smaller.

I understand your change of opinion about Dora. You see, she changed. (not that I liked her in the first place, but) She used to be a backpack-toting explorer, as much as that can be said, but now she's this girly-girl thing... I don't know too much about it but I've heard some people are unhappy.

Wow. My first Pudding's Place post! Embarassed/Smile

Re: Dora: Yeah, now backpack has the star pocket. blegh.

Re: Frances: *Vomits* gleh!

Re: T&P: I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! oddly enough, the pop+vomit-inducing theme song is sorta catchy...and that's what worries me.

*gasp* In #4, you insulted my RL namesake!!! *sobs hysterically* :D The books are good. I didn't know there was a TV show for it....it must be bad.

@Mary Jo: Yeah, I thought the books looked okay. The TV show sucks though. Yet another example of good books being turned into horrible shows/movies....

I found another awful little kid show! It's called Weebils. I'll expound on it later...

@ZNZ:But I like the old Winnie-the-Pooh movies! By the way, what does IMHO mean? I THINK it means in my honest opinon, but I'm not sure. But you're right, nothing compares to the original stories.

I like the Frances books! We have one of them, Bedtime for Frances. And yea, I guess the older Winnie-the-Pooh movies were better than the most recent ones. (Though that's probably not hard.) I'm just kind of a purist about such things -- least that's what my mom says.

IMHO = In My Humble Opinion.

I have Bread and Jam for Frances, A Birthday for Frances, and I think I might have Bedtime for Frances. Bread and Jam is definitely the best. And I totally agree about Pooh! They totally botched it with the new animation and the girl who replaced Christopher Robin. I hate the interactive baby TV shows where they're playing detective or some stupid what-not and then they say something like, "Do you see they ball? (*pause*) You're right! Good job!" :P Little Einsteins is so silly! It's just a bunch of insanely smart babies who can name songs by Johannes Brahms (sp?) and a bunch of other dead people.

THEY REPLACED CHRISTOPHER ROBIN? WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO? *dies*

Ugh, yes, the interactive stuff. Even when I was small and watched Blue's Clues with one of my little friends, we agreed to never shout out the answers to Steve because it was stupid and because he was a grown-up so he could figure things out by himself.

What? But I thought you knew. That's the main reason I despise the new show. What are Tigger and Pooh without Christopher Robin? (Although, i'm not sure but he could be there, just with the other girl added.) The lengths they go to not to "show preference" to girls or boys! *huff*

When i was little i used to Watch Blues too, and I thought it was pretty weird that a salt and pepper shaker could talk, and when I tried to talk to the salt and pepper shakers that i had, and they didn't answer, i relized that Blues Clues was full of baloney, and I avoided watching.

That's what worries me about TV for little kids. Kids are willing to believe ANYTHING they see.
