Coldplay!!!!!!!!

Anyone else here a huge Coldplay fan? I have listened to pretty much all of their songs and own several of the albums, and every one of the big hits (except for The Scientist and Yellow).

1) Fix You -- GREATEST SONG EVER! This got me through my entire, and rather depressing, sixth grade year.

2) Viva la Vida -- AMAZING STRINGS RIFF. 'Nuff said. The lyrics are awesome too.

3) Clocks -- LOVE THE PIANO! Thank you Coldplay for reintroducing the piano to popular music.

4) Violet Hill -- WOW. True rock, something of a rarity in Coldplay, but they put their own alt twist on it and made it incredible.

5) Speed of Sound -- I'M LOVIN' IT, even though I can't figure out what it's about (and, apparently, neither can anyone else).

6) Talk -- AWESOME ELECTRIC GUITAR. One of the best examples of their semi-minimalist style.

7) The Scientist -- LOVELY ACOUSTIC. Chris Martin doesn't do a lot of primarily acoustic tracks, but the ones that he does -- Till Kingdom Come, Lost?, and The Scientist -- are masterpieces.

8) Strawberry Swing -- AWESOME MUSIC VIDEO! Find it on YouTube. Plus the song is just an all-around modern classic.

9) Lovers in Japan -- OMG SYNTHESIZER LINE! I listen to this one over and over again, never get bored.

10) Life in Technicolor ii -- REALLY GOOD REMIX! The original was great. The one released on the Prospekt's March EP album was amazing.

First person to get this gets... I don't know... the honor of having gotten it first! What is the whole Viva la Vida album about?

Coldplay fans, please drop in!

@Kimberly: Ooh!  I just remembered: I know his mom on FB, she has pictures of him on there, and I know you on FB!  So maybe if you went to her photos, then you could see him!  Unless they are on private, as some are...  her name is Rebekah.  :)

Wow.  This is getting waay off topic.  :)  So I will now say something about Coldplay.   Fix You has the most meaning of all the songs I have heard by them, at least for me.  I remember saying that it was my favourite song, but never the reason...  :)

Back on topic-I listened to a Coldplay CD the other day, I think it's called Parachutes. Coldplay is so awesome! :)

Parachutes was their first big album. Best track: Yellow, hands down.

Ooh, totally, that is the best song on the album, and one of my very favorite songs by them! :)

Have you downloaded LeftRightLeftRightLeft from the Coldplay website? It's a free album of their favorites performed live. They say "This is a thank you to our fans." I think we count as fans. The Viva la Vida live performance is absolutely electrifying.

Yes, I'm feeling better :)

The opener, Glass of Water, is now on my top ten solely for that amazing live recording. Look up Glass of Water on YouTube and pick the first result. Awesome performance (watch Will at 3:45) and REALLY EPIC.
