I am so excited for the movie!! I hope it isn't that bloody or gross though. And I hope it is a lot like the book!

DOES NOT COMPUTE. If it's anything like the book, it /will/ be bloody and gross.

Oh, what I mean is that I hope the movie is like the book. But if the movie is not like the book they should just make it so that it is all age appropriate.

I hadn't even heard of the Hunger Games until I got on here. I have just finished listening to it on audiobook. The book is wonderfully written and really suspenceful. The book is also rather strange and sad but very good. I looked up Jennifer Lawrence and on wikipedia it has the movies actors have done and the ones they are doing and I saw that on there. It looks interesting I think that I will go see it when it comes out. But I have no idea how you could make a movie from a book like that.

I'm not going crazy over watching this movie.  Seeing is far worse than reading, meaning, there. will. be. violence. gore. grossness.  I don't know how you would be overwhelmed with excitement to watch something like that.  But don't get me wrong, I'll watch it... just not in theaters. :)  I've heard it might be rated R. Is that true?  Then none of us could see it in theaters.

Oh, ha, and I just read somewhere, the movie is scheduled to premiere in MARCH 2012.  One year away guys.  I thought it was going to be soon, though. :(

I want to see it, but I'm kind of hesitant, because I'm sure it will be rather gory. I don't like seeing those sorts of things. I automatically envision everything I read, so I technically have seen it all in my head, but since I don't know what violence actually looks like, my visualizations probably aren't much like the real thing, so I'm not disturbed by it, but I'm sure I would be by the real thing. I wouldn't want to see it if it were too gory, and certainly not if it's rated R, as I'm 12 (and allowed to watch PG13 things, though, so I'd be able to see it if I want if it were rated PG13)... I don't think it would be a good idea for them to rate it as R, though. A good deal of it's fans aren't old enough to watch rated R movies. I imagine they'll have to cut down on the violence quite a bit if they want as many people as possible to see it, which I'm sure is so.

I don't actually have a problem with seeing violence or gore, it's the other stuff that I don't want to see. I really think that they will have to rate it R, but I think people can still see R rated movies if they are accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. I think that's the age.

I don't know if I would see the movie anyway because I would probably just be rather disgusted by how all the people in the movie aren't like the characters in the book. I try not to be, but I almost always fail.
