Wicked!

I'm soooo excited, I get to see Wicked in two days!!!!!!! I'm reallyyyy excited!

I've read the book and, in my opinion, it was completely awful (plus, it's more of an adult book in some of the content), but I've heard two songs from the musical and have a friend who lovvvves it, so I'm veryyy excited! Have you guys seen it??

My choir teacher said a baseball, not ping-pong ball, but same idea.

"BSoD"?

The one part I didn't like in the video of SJB doing No Good Deed was the spell in the beginning. I like the very rhythmic feel of the spell being chanted that I've seen others do, but the way she did it seemed scattered and like it had no rhythm to it.

I've watched Glee maybe twice in my life, and I'm not a fan. It would be ridiculous for them to cast LM with all the incredible people that COULD be cast! One good idea for casting on it would be to do it like the movie of CATS was done, taking the best performers that have played the roles and putting them all together.

Something random and awesome having to do with Wicked: I'm going to be one of the students/chorus with some friends of mine that are singing What is this Feeling for a talent show at our school. I'm also thinking about singing For Good with one of the two friends playing Elphie and Galinda in What is this Feeling, but I'm not sure yet.

I would probably choke if I tried the baseball thing. I have a very, um, vivid imagination sometimes.

She did hold on to the "tum"s for a slightly long time, I think that's what threw it off, mostly.

I was forced by my mother, under extreme duress, to watch several episodes of Glee with her. The one with Kristin Chenoweth was good during the parts when she sang, because... you know... Kristin Chenoweth. Generally though the plot was unengaging, the characters either trite, unsympathetic, or annoying, or all three, and the singing severely autotuned. :\

That would be so epic.

I have been thinking about younger actors lately, because I've been talking about this with my friend Ashlee as well, and I've decided that, if I can't have SJB and Kristin, I want Samanta Barks (as Elphie) and Leigh Ann Larkin (as Glinda).

For Good is our graduation song this year. Cliche, yes, I know, but still awesome.

Yeah, cliche, but exremely awesome. One of the huge reasons I want to sing For Good in the talent show at my school is that I'm moving to California this summer and it seems pretty fitting in my life right now. Plus, it's from Wicked, so... :)
