What do you

What do you play?

When I was little my parents put me in Kindermusic which taught me rhythm, notes, reading music, playing music,,singing, history of music, and they did this in a way that made it very fun for kids 1 yr - about 5 (not sure) and then I began playing the violin, which I have been playing it for 8 years and use the Suzuki books (not method), as well as a gyspy book and a fiddler book. When I started middle school I took up the clarinet for band....Actually I was forced to do it..... Now it's all good ;) I would like to learn the flute, trumpet, viola (my mom has one), and singing.

So I tell me about your music, it can be what you play, what kinda music you like or even what kind of instrument you want to learn!

I've played violin since I was 9. Before that, I took piano lessons and ballet. All through school I sang in choir and loved it. In high school my choir traveled by bus to the Music Educators National Conference to perform at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City. It was a big honor to be invited and lots of fun, too. I still love singing (mostly in church now) and play violin in our community orchestra.

I enjoy listening to almost all kinds of music, including opera.

I've been playing piano since I was six, so that's six years so far. :) I use the Royal Conservatory books and currently I'm in Grade 8. I also play the alto sax for band class but I'm not that great at it. -_- I'd love to switch to the flute (which I'm allowed to in January) but when I first tried it, I could barely get a sound out. But I was wearing my braces elastics so... *is hopeful*

I did Kindermusic, too! Don't really remember much about it, though.

Piano, since I was six, so seven and a half years. My teacher uses a bunch of different books, and there's not really a method to them. I also play with the school's orchestra. I am currently playing a Mozart Concerto in G Major. I think that it might be the only concerto that he wrote in G Major. Anyway, I have mixed feelings toward it. On one hand, it's pretty and all. On the other hand, I have to do backward sections on it. There are thirty pages, and IT'S KILLING ME!!! It takes so long to memorize them, and I would much rather be reading. Also, it's just not the stuff that I really like.  My piano teacher doesn't exactly teach alternative rock. But I like it well enough.

I also took flute for a half year in fourth grade, then quit because there were twelve kids, thirty minutes, one room, and one teacher. Not fun.

I also do chorus, the regular one, the Honors Chorus, and Barbershop Quartet. The musical, I'm afraid, is too much of a time commitment, and I just devoted half of my life of half of a year to Robotics, and I'm not about to do it again.

As I mentioned before, the music I like all falls under the very broad genre of "Alternative". My music consists of Muse, Linkin Park (they did a lot of Transformers stuff), My Chemical Romance, and occasionally Greenday. Coldplay, too. Occasionally, I'll find a country song that I like, but not often. Currently, I very much like Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound". Very, very much.

What instrument I'd like to learn? I wouldn't want to practice it.

I started playing piano when I was six, but then I stopped when I was ten. Now I play the violin. I use the Suzuki books, but not the method for violin also. I also take singing now.

I'm a very devoted clarinet person.  I even am in  a jazz band, along with school band!  I've been playing for four years.  I also take chorus, so that kinda counts, right?  Expanding on chorus, I do drama club, which is run by the same person.

You're in jazz band! Nice! I was in my school's jazz band last year, but not this year because all practices are after school, my schedule is all messed up and I live 30 minutes away so I can't walk home...

Le saxophone. Someone else already had the piano taken. Besides, my friend and I would have clawed each other's eyes out if one of us had taken the piano. :P
