My turtle, Tobie-Wan, swims toward his food when you shake it.

I was walking my dog once, when we walked by a rental house, and man I'd never seen before was shaking out a rug on the porch. My dog sat down a little ways before the house, and wouldn't walk past or let me until the man went inside! Then he just got up and went on as if nothing had happened!

My cats are James Bond reincarnated in cat form. Don't believe me? Here's why:

My cats always, without fail, have packages that say "From the cats" under the Christmas tree. Every Christmas, they do the following:

1. Pry up a loose floorboard, and dig a tunnel into the front yard. Take the car keys with them.

2.  Drive to the bookstore. One cat goes down on the floor and pushes the brake and accelerator, while the other cat sits on the seat, moves the steering wheel, and directs the other cat.

3. Dress in a long trenchcoat and hat. One cat (probably the fat one) stands on two legs, the other stands on the first cat (also on two legs.)

4. Head into the bookstore. Go find whatever book I want for Christmas. Head to the cashier. Ignore strange looks from customers. Pass book and money over counter (because, of course, these cats have jobs. That's where they get their money). Say nothing.

5. Leave, and drive to the next place. Et cetera, et cetera.

6. Return home. Go back inside, fill in tunnel, put floor board back down, hide trench coat and fedora in back of someone's closet, wrap presents (despite lack of opposable thumbs), put under tree, go onto couch, and fall asleep. When the humans get home, they suspect nothing!

Either that, or my mom does the whole thing and just says from the cats, but that's too implausible.
