Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

Feburary 2009!

Feburary 2009!

I just read this issue cover to cover and I loved it!

Well I have a little survey for everybuggy, so here it goes. (and italics means my personal answers)

1. How long have you been reading Cricket?

Ever since I was a little girl! See, my parents taught me how to read when I was 4, so I caught on to reading Cricket when I was 6.

2. What was your favorite story in this issue?

Ohh! I can't decide! I think its a tie between "Hurrah for Mr. Davis! Hurrah for Mr. Lincoln" (Part One), "The Star Shard" (Part 8), "Young Fredrick Douglas: The Slave Who Learned to Read" and "The Herdboys of Lesotho."

3. What was your favorite poem?

All of the "Punctuation Poems" were awesome and I really liked "Books." I relate to it soo much!

That's it for my survey and if you don't want to answer it, just tell us about what you liked about this month's issue!

Fun! Okay, here's me...

1. I have been reading since I was eight, nine-ish.

2. 'Hurrah for Mr. Davis! Hurrah for Mr. Lincoln!', Part One. In my homeschool we are studying the Civil War, coincidentally!

3. 'Punctuation Poems'

That was fun! Thanks, Kinaya!
