That's what I was going to say! Did you know the tv series, Road to Avonlea, was based on the books; The Story Girl,  The Golden Road, Chronicles of Avonlea, and Further Chronicles? Plus a scene here and there of the later Anne books. If you haven't seen this show, you should. It's really good.
