What is the best vacation you’ve ever taken with your family?

Well, that is a hard question! I can't choose, so I have three!

1) Arizona: When I was sixish my family went to Arizona. We got to see the Grand Canyon and I remember that my mom held on to my hand too tightly by the edge, so I wouldn't fall. We ate at this restaurant that had hay on the floor and reminded my of a barn (without the smell). Outside the restaurant there was this gargantuan cactus that was at least twice as tall as a tree! We visited a Navajo camp from centuries ago. It was amazing!

2) Louisiana: When I was three or four we went to Louisiana for a wedding and sightseeing. Yes, I know I was young, but I remember everything! We stayed at a little bed and breakfast place that had mardi gras beads for kids. It was in a quaint brick neighboorhood with beautiful trees. After the wedding we went to a friend of the groom's house to have snacks and hang out before the reception. The yard was gorgeous. Towering trees, lush grass and a brick path met my eyes. There were other kids there that I didn't know, but we all played together in the yard, wearing the feathered masks the friend of the groom gave us. Later, we visited a cemetery, which was cool because the graves were above the ground instead of under. It also flooded while we were there, filling our cars with water!

3) Disney: A few years ago we went to Disney in Florida! It was so much fun. We rented a house with a pool that had cool rooms (Snow White themed and penguins). The parks were awesome! It is hard to describe! Anyways, we had a lot of fun there.

Disney World!  It was my dream to go there!  I'm so happy I went!  Not this summer, but next summer, we're going back.  I'm already planning it!:)

When we went to Prince Edward Island I got to see the real Green Gables, see where L.M. Montgomery lived, go to the beach, go to Avonlea Village, and eat world famous ice cream!!!

I cannot decide on the best vacation (Because I am very well traveled, and I can't pick a favorite), but the most memorable one was definitely my trip to China. It was originally for my grandfather's birthday, but we saw many more things than birthday cakes and presents. I was very moved by the humble, fall-apart houses, which contained not very much (we got to go inside). The bathrooms had disgusting "squat toilets" which is NOT your ordinary toilet, and which I myself refused to touch. I'm growing up in a very affluent, safe, town in California, where nothing is really wrong or dirty, so you could probably imagine the odd contrast that lay in my mind. Luckily, most of the trip was not as dirty as that, and the bathroom in our hotel (which did not have a squat toilet, by the way) was really great because there were two rooms, the shower room, and the sink room. My dad thought that there wasn't a shower in there, but we discovered that the shower was the whole room! So I pretended that I was a penguin sliding Smile!

That was the most memorable vacation of my life.

I'm going to Yellowstone this August. Can someone tell me about it?
