Do you know any funny superstitions?

Yes! I know some people who believe that you HAVE to eat black-eyed peas on January 1, or you'll have "bad luck" for the rest of the year.

Also, that if you say something bad hasn't happened yet, you have to knock on wood to make sure it doesn't.

And Murphey's Law, which says, "If something can go wrong, it will."

I personally don't believe in any superstitions, but...

There are some people who believe that in order to have a lower chance of catching a winter cold, you have to catch a green leaf in early autumn.

Some people believe that if you bite your tongue while eating, you recently told a lie.
