If you were writing a medieval story, what names might you imagine for the characters and places?

The same names I use for all of my characters. I wrote a whole book about a character name Citrus, so I feel that some of the names I come up with are so crazy they're timeless.

Actually, I'd probably use Sir Will.

Somehow the name Will gets used waaaaaay too much in fantasy/sci-fi/medival fiction. It's almost nauseating.

I like to put all of the characters toghter and claim they are one person. For example: Sir William Shackley is also Sir William the video game character slayer. Or Arthur Moon is also King Arthur of the Britans. I have only read a few books in those genres with the name Will. Okay, it's common. But count how many "Daniels" there are in books, and you'll be even more nausitated!

Plus, Sir Will is also sort of an inside joke with me and one of my friends.
