Dear Cricket,

Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

Dear Cricket,

Dear Cricket,

I know that I'm the umpteenth person to say THAT I'm the umpteenth person to say this, but quite frankly, I utterly love your magazine. It's amazing to read pure literature that sparks imagination in young minds, and I believe that Cricket could very well be the solution for a better tomorrow, filled with children that care more about the arts instead of video games and TV.

I'll begin with some facts about me! The first thing I tell everyone is that I love to sing! I absolutely want to pursue it as a career, and it's the thing I am most passionate about. Singing lifts me out of reality and makes me feel triumphant.

My family consists of me, my older sister, my younger sister, and my parents. Being in the middle can be quite challenging, but a positive is that you are able to learn and then teach!

I go to public school, which I love! I'm in a school play right now (Seussical Jr.) and it's super fun.

I live in New Jersey, and something I really don't get is why people say we say things like "cawfee." Most of the people in my area don't have accents at all, including me, It's actually only common near places like the Jersey Shore, I suppose.

Anyway, I love the magazine. Keep on keeping on!

Dear Nora,

Thank you for your kind words about our magazine. We love singing, too! Sing on. . . .

Love,

Cricket
