Dear Cricket and

Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

Dear Cricket and

Dear Cricket and the gang,

I enjoyed reading the April 2014 issue of Cricket magazine! I always look forward to it every month. As part of my monthly routine to share my thoughts on each Cricket magazine, here are my thoughts on the April issue.

The cover artwork was very interesting and a bit different from the regular artwork that I'm used to seeing on the cover. I thought the horse on the cover was funny! Other than that I thought the cover perfectly illustrated the theme of the issue- the Wild West! Please tell the illustrator that I think she did a great job.

I was very excited when I flipped to the Letterbox section- because two of the quotes I posted here on the Chatterbox were published in the magazine! This has been the first time I've been published- and it was a very wonderful opportunity. Thank you for publishing me!

My favorite stories and poems in the issue were The Returnee: Part 1, Sea Fever, and Spring in Tehran. I can't wait for Part 2 of The Returnee

I was SO impressed with the results of the medieval fantasy art contest. The drawings were all so creative and elaborately done. Good job to the winners!

As always, a big thumbs-up to your magazine! I will share my thoughts on next month's magazine, too! I always love sharing my thoughts on the magazine as much as I do reading it!

Best wishes,

Nina S.

I saw you in the magazine, Nina! I always like seeing my friends from the CB in the magazine.
