Dear Cricket,

Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

Dear Cricket,

Dear Cricket,

Okay, I would just like to say how much I love your magazine. I'm not going to ramble on about that, because I know you hear it a lot. So instead I'll tell you about myself. Every time I read yoiur magazine, I try to imagine my stories published in there with all the other great ones. In fact, I'm already working on some stories to publish in there when I'm 14! My dream is to publish a book. I'm working on a science fiction novel with my mom to publish.

One thing I love to do is read really old issues of Cricket. I collect them from garage sales and stuff. There's just something about old Cricket magazines. Even back then you were great, guys! Keep it up!

Thank you for your kind words, Bookbug. About those old Crickets: a good story is eternal. It can be enjoyed for generations and generations.

The only stories from students we publish is in Cricket League, so be sure to check for the current contest theme and rules at cricketmagkids.com/contests. The other stories in Cricket are written by adults. Our sister magazine Cicada, however, does publish work from teens age 14 and up.

 Love,

Old Cricket
