Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

@Admins , when

@Admins , when I write a comment it multiplies itself into two . Why? Thanks for hearing me out .

I don't know why. It happens to others, too, sometimes. Maybe someone else knows why. Sometimes we Admins catch the duplicate and only post one, but it takes longer for us to do that, to check to see that both comments are going to the same thread.

Hmm. That may have happened to me before - I was never really sure. Be sure when you submit the post to type in all of your stuff, then upload an image (if you have one), then enter the CAPTCHA and press submit - in that order. Then, do not press the back button in your web browser, as this will take you back to the submit-a-comment page, and you don’t want to accidentally submit the comment again.

Of course, it’s quite possible that you are doing all of this already and there’s something else going on that you have no control over. In that case, I’m sorry that I was of no help!

The only reason that ever happens to me is if I'm trying to make a comment, and then I type in the CAPTCHA and hit submit, and then it's taking a really long time to process so then I get frustrated and click submit again. Then, when it finally loads, it will probably ask you to put in a CAPTCHA again but that's only for the second time you clicked submit; the first one should have submitted. So just exit out of that and it shouldn't duplicate.
