Gah! Hope I'm not too late, I know April 1st is literally TOMORROW, but...

Puck: Hold up Joan!

Hi Ella, I'm Puck, Joan of Arc's AE.

Me: This is important... why?

Puck: Shush! Anyways... I'm very mischevious. And I'm the master of pranks.

I was wondering.. could you advertise my prank store? Because, you know.. April fools day and all. *grins*

Pretty pretty please advertise about my store?

It has all sorts of pranks you could imagine, plus you can create your own in my chemistry lab in the back of the store! I'm always trying to make the newest pranks ever there, and my brothers Ariel and Galahad work in my store trying to help me with it. Plus.. there's pie! *giggle*

Anways if you could be so kind to do that, I would love it thanks! *dissapears in a puff of smoke*

Me: *coughs* Oh no, please don't let that be her itching powder... *waits a few seconds* *sighs* Ok we're good.

I might have some other things to put on.. but,

*Puck reappears really quick*

OH! Also, maybe advertise for a club for pranksters? I'm sure there HAS to be some more mischevious AEs on here; I can't be the only one! And maybe I could offer classes on how to best prank someone...? *dissapears*

Me: *sighs* Anyways. See ya later. :)

OH MY GOSH, SOMEONE ACTUALLY RECOGNIZED THE SHAKESPEARE REFERENCE TO PUCK'S NAME!!!!!!!!

GAH!!! *squeals happily*

Hold up, so you recognized Midsummer's Nights Dream, but are you into any other Shakespeare plays, or have you only like read Midsummer's nights dream?

Comedy of Errors AND Romeo and Juliet! I tried reading Hamlet, but I just can't get into it. Midsummer's got to be my favorite though, COE coming in as a close second. What about you?

Yay-I've met another person who actually enjoys Shakespeare!!

Not many people do like it anymore or enjoy it nowadays... :(

Hmm... I really love As you Like It, (but of course I might be a little biased because I played Rosalind XD )

I've been in 2 Shakespeare plays, Much Ado about Nothing (as Verges) and As you Like It (as Rosalind) (technically I've been in 4 Shakespeare plays if you count the 15 minute Hamlet play I was in and a small part as a nymph in the tempest)

But yeah, I absolutely LOVE As You Like It, and Romeo and Juliet is a good one too. Comedy of Errors is super funny though!

Puck was my first AE I ever made, and as you know like the Puck from Midsummer Night's Dream, she is very mischevious.

Puck: *sticks tongue out at me* *giggles* *dissapears*

Me: *shakes head smiling* She has a twin brother named Ariel, who if you have read the Tempest, then that's where he gets his name from.

Puck and Ariel balance each other out. :)

Sorry, that was probably A LOT more information then you were wanting/asking.... XD

Oh, I totally thought Puck was a boy because of the character! Gosh, and I made the ad and everything! Why am I so cursed at guessing gender??!!!

I haven't read The Tempest or As You Like It, and I am a bit biased for Midsummer as well, since we read that in my LA class and even got to rewrite some of the scenes. One of those scenes was the ply that Bottom, Quince, and everybody put on, and here are some highlights of my team's production:

One of the boys said that he wanted to play a character that stabs themselves, and since I already took Pyramus, I said "Alright, you can be Thisbe." And everyone laughed.

We replaced Thisbe's mantle that she drops with her copy of the Communist Manifesto. The boy who played Thisbe brought a book titled Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook, so we used that. We didn't put a post-it note on it or anything; we just kept the book as it was.

When Pyramus (Me) was dying, I screamed at the moon to get out and let me die in peace.

My sounds of dying were just me saying "Oof, Ouch, Oofies, Ouchie" Etc.

"Oh, I wonder where my love is-" *The lion tackles Thisbe off of the stage*

The teacher made us keep some of the Shakespearan lines, so we had The Wall say "On this night that it doth befall; what up fam, I'm Snout, and I'm playin' the wall."

SPEAKING of that wall, Pyramus mentions that the wall is made out of stone and rock a lot of times, and we wanted to emphasize that. So, we printed out a couple of pictures of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and taped them on our Wall. One was an extremey distorted picture of his head (which we taped on The Wall's chest), and the other was just a picture of his face, which I later noticed had two noses and was crying (This one represented the hole, and someone even went through the trouble of cutting out the mouth)

Higlighted Lines:

Pyramus: "Oh kiss me through the hole of this vile wall!"  Thisbe:"Eww, I kissed Dwayne!"

P:"Meet me at my grandmother's tomb - the PERFECT first date!"

P:"Oh Thisbe, you were the swaggiest hipster dude in all the lands!"

"Well," *Pyramus pulls out the dagger* Guess I'll die!

Wall: "I'm out." *Exits stage*

I was given/gave mysel the honor of drafting the declarations of love, and this is what I came up with:

"My love for you is stronger than Shaggy at 9% power."

"I love you more than Shrek loved Trump."

"Like Harambe, I will love you until I die."

I hold a lot of pride in that rewrite.
