*If you’re petting so hard that you DO break a sweat, you’re either petting the kitten way too hard or it’s very hot.
In which case you should should turn the thermostat down or go inside, because kittens don’t like being out there!

FIREWORK SAFETY TIPS!
You'll obviously need to purchase them in bulk. You need that bargain! You'll also need to make sure what you're doing is 100% illegal wherever you are. Fireworks are all about rebellion, right?

First, you must always wear a protective suit filled with ice, to protect you from the heat. A refrigerator with arm and leg holes will do the trick.

Alright. 1. Always have water handy, or a fire extinguisher. 2. Do not get too close to the launcher when you shoot off your fireworks. 3. Absolutely do NOT lean over the barrel. 4. Obey all laws on your area. e.g. where we live you’re not allowed to use fireworks. 5. Do not allow Shard to use the fireworks. 6. BE CAREFUL!!

ALWAYS have a hose nearby, in case the grass catches fire, and don't try to get the fire extinguisher from the laundry room, especially if you don't know how to use it!! (I speak from experience...)

Make sure to wear at least three pairs of sunglasses to protect yourself from the lights.

Put in earplugs, then headphones, and for good measure, throw on a couple beanies to protect your ears.

mk. First, buy one hundred firworks. tie them all together so they go in a controlled direction, not all over. then, you'll need a safety suit. get your cooler. cut leg&arm&head holes in it. empty the icemaker into the cooler and put it on. There, you're safe. oh, and wrap a towel around your head so if you fall it doesnt hurt. Now, to be safe when setting the fireworks off, get a long long long stick and light the end of it. that way you dont have to get close to the fireworks to light them! and finally, touch the burning stick to the firework tips and watch them burst off earth! since they're tied together, they'll either go straight up in a spectacular display, or explode and kill you. Hope it's the first!

Always remember if your firework isn't launching correctly always look right down the canister to make sure nothing is wrong. If the firework just refuses to launch make sure to properly dispose of it by tossing it into the fire. Instead of hiring professionals to launch the fireworks, just ask your little cousin, it's much cheaper and he'll have a blast.

Before launching fireworks, carefully stare at the sun until you go blind and then get your family and friends to scream so loud you go deaf. This way your eyes and ears won't get hurt by fireworks! :D

Get yourself in a huge plastic bubble and stand 20 feet away from the firework. Then get a very long and thin match to light the firework.

Random advice: Never NEVER hug a large yellow mouse. 999 out of 1000 times it's Pikachu and it will shock you (electrically). 1 out of 1000 times it's a spottely blue chickmouse. What to do when near an irritated spottely blue chickmouse: accept your death.

How about that black-footed cats, who weigh 2-5 pounds, can catch Cape hares and drive off jackals and are the deadliest cats with a 60% chance of catching prey, known to locals (they live in Nambia, South Africa, and Botswana) as anthill tigers because of their tendency to take over abandoned termite mounds and fiercely attack anything that comes too near, and are vulnerable on the IUCN red list with a decreasing population? Scottish wildcats, felis silvestris silvestris subspecies grampia (they're a subspecies of a subspecies), are critically endangered with estimates of 40-300 left in the wild. For me, August means enjoying the last of summer, celebrating my friend's birthday, getting excited to go back to school and then remembering that it's the still the same place that I was dying to get out of in June.
I also have a suggestion for a September advice column: Effective tips for raking leaves (Kind of lame, but also something everyone needs to know!)
