Pretty self-explanatory, for when you have a question for the Admins.
I was looking through the Ultimate Guide to the CB, and it says people ask the admins questions "frequently related to blue moon ice cream."
What does that mean?

@Admins (or @Admin, I guess, because only one will read this), what is your favorite book/books/author?
You ask a tough question. I like different kinds of books, so I like a variety of books and authors for different reasons. However, I'll have to say that my very favorite book ever is Remembrance Rock by Carl Sandburg. It's a masterpiece and the only novel he wrote. He's better known for his poetry.

@Admins do any of you remember the whole S.M.S. ordeal? It was crazy. I was looking through old posts and discovered the whole story. It should be turned into a soap opera or something.
S.M.S. doesn't ring a bell with me, but I've been around the longest. If you can tell me what the intials stand for, maybe I'll remember.

I don't know what the initials stand for but I can tell you the jist of the story. Basically someone had been lying and impersonating on CB for a long time and then admitted it and changed their name to S.M.S. Then a bunch of new people came and some CBers accused them of being S.M.S making a new identity. And they said "If your just going to accuse me the second I get on here I'm just going to leave!" We lost a couple CBers that way. Anyway this was like over 10 years ago, just wondering if you remembered.

@ admin, not sure if this has ever been asked, but would you ever make it possible to attach short videos?
Our webmaster did it once as a special favor for a CB anniversary, but I don't think our staff will have time to do it again. I'll ask.

@Admin, so this recently occured to me and I was wondering, when you click the link to where it shows all the bugs and animals with links to different parts of the CB, why is there no link to Blab About Books or This Month?
I don't know what page the link you mention is on. When you go to /chatterbox, you should find links to TM and BAB.

There isn't a link to TM and BaB
The links you see or don't see may depend upon your software. Try going to cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox
From there you should (I hope) get links to all sections of Chatterbox.

@admin what kind of music do you like to listen to?
Almost every kind—ballet, Beatles, classical, country, opera, . . . The only kind I would not list with my favorites is jazz.

Oh that's an impossible question for me to answer! On my last reply about kinds of music I like, I completely forgot to mention show music—Broadway and others. And movie music! When you say song, I think of lyrics. And there are so many wonderful songs with meaningful lyrics!

@Admin(s), is there an age limit to submitting to Cricket League or is preference given to younger contestants?
No age limit. Entries are judged in two age groups: 10 and under and 11 and up. However, within each age group we do also consider the specfic age of the entrant.

An OC stands for Other Character - sometimes in role-plays or solo writes you submit a character instead of yourself. Hope that helps :)

(I think) in most contexts "OC" stands for "original character", as in a character you have created yourself (not existing in, say, a favorite book/movie), just like an AE in the CB but not necessarily based on an aspect of your personality. They may also be created for the purpose of developing other creative work, such as for stories or drawings. That's just a broader definition.
In the context of a role-play or solo-write, thinking of it as "other character" is appropriate, since you might use that character solely for that RP and simply as an alternate perspective with no intention to develop them further.
