Egg Hunt Store

Egg Hunt Store

Okay, here’s the official store for the egg hunt. If you want to know how many points you scored/have remaining after purchasing something, ask! :D

So, without further ado, here’s the store, complete with forms!

~~~
Two points — Playlist/Song Recommendations (Basic – 4 songs)
*Note: my music tastes are generally indie/alternative, so that’s typically the kind of songs you’ll be getting. Also — none of the music I listen to is particularly curse word-heavy, but if you’d really rather not have curse words in your song recommendations, please specify. :)
Four points — Playlist/Song Recommendations (Deluxe – 10 songs)
Same note applies for the basic song recommendations above.
Six points — Sketched Picturing
Form~
Name:
Gender/Pronouns:
Brief Personality:
Appearance:
Pose (optional):
Words in Background (like dialogue, song lyrics, etc.) (optional):
Eight points — Inked Picturing
Same form for Sketched Picturing!
Ten points — Written Picturing
Name:
Gender/Pronouns:
Personality:
Appearance (leave blank for how I imagine you):
Setting (I’m a bit better at settings in nature, but whatever you want!) (optional):
Twelve points — Full Color Picturing
Same form for Sketched Picturing! (Be sure to include colors :))
Twenty points — Short Story (probably more like flash fiction in length)
You give me the prompt and I’ll write a short story based on that! I suppose you could also give me characters to write a short story about. In that case, give me the names, pronouns, appearances, personalities, and relationships between a few of your original characters, as well as a scenario/prompt for a short story featuring them.
All right, by now I'm certain that I have more than ten points... could I have a written picturing? I love the way you write :) And don't worry about writing it quickly, I understand if it takes a while.
Name: Amethyst
Gender/Pronouns: she/her, female
Personality: Usually happy, warmhearted (I hope), kind, INFP if that helps
Appearance (leave blank for how I imagine you): Tall and slender, wavy black hair, lilac or turquoise dress (slightly lower than knee-length), tall silver boots, and a silver brooch in my hair. Or you can just do how you imagine me :)
Setting (I’m a bit better at settings in nature, but whatever you want!) (optional): Ooh, settings in nature is definitely fine by me! Maybe a forest, or a forest waterfall
Thanks so much! :D
Thank you! :) Sorry, this took WAY too long -- this week was really busy. I wouldn't say it's my best work, but I hope you like it :)
Amethyst~
Somewhere deep in the forest, where only the bravest and most adventurous souls dare venture, water spilled, white and roaring, over the cliffs and burbled in its basin, trickling over rocks as it flowed downstream. Rocks, slick with moss and algae, bordered the basin, and ferns draped their feathery green fronds down from the cliffs. This far from human society, animals roamed the woods freely without fear — the big, lumbering brown bears, lean white-tailed deer on delicate yet powerful legs, ruddy foxes with dark bushy tails, the chattering chipmunks, the hedgehogs, and the frogs — and the waterfall became a safe haven for them.
The girl came to them one morning, the sound of her tall silver boots falling softly on the pine-needle covered forest floor barely audible over the waterfall’s roar. Her hair, dark as spilled ink, cascaded about her shoulders and was held back from her face with a decorative silver brooch — sensible, of course, because she was exploring the woods, but elegant nonetheless. Her dress, a shimmering light purple tone, had ruffles that swished slightly about her legs and gave the illusion that she was swathed in a lilac fog. Her face, peppered with freckles, was kind, with a bright smile and eyes that were the most vibrant and sparkling shade of purple like raw amethyst.
The animals all watched as she broke through the foliage, gently brushing aside the tree leaves and young branches of springtime, and stared up at the waterfall, wonder reflected in those amethyst eyes. She sat down on a nearby rock and rummaged through her canvas messenger bag to find the thermos of tea she’d prepared before setting off into the forest. As she drank a few sips, the wildlife began to approach her, cautious at first but bolder when she did them no harm. One little hedgehog, being bravest of them all, nuzzled the toe of the girl’s silver boot, and she reached down and let it sniff her hand.
Today it is said that, somewhere deep in the forest, where only the bravest and most adventurous souls dare venture, water spills, white and roaring, over the cliffs and burbles in its basin, trickling over rocks as it flows downstream. The waterfall is an oasis for all of the forest’s creatures, from the largest bear to the smallest squirrel. And one girl, adventurous and brave, with eyes like amethyst, having stumbled upon the waterfall one day and been accepted by the woodland animals, is the friend of the forest and the guardian of all the creatures of the woods.
I wanted a short story, but I don't have 20 points :( so here goes a request for a written picturing, please!
Name: Poinsettia
Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her
Personality: Fiery, a touch rebellious, fun-loving, people-loving, very empathetic, adventurous, sensitive
Appearance (leave blank for how I imagine you):  On the CB I'm fairly pretty - I have long dark hair with red and gold highlights, green eyes with gold flecks, skin on the fairer side of cinnamon, medium height for my age, slender but not skinny. I love to wear dark purple, turqoise, and other dramatic colors. My expression changes with every fluctuation of my mood, sometimes gay and laughing, sometimes wistful - eek, by now I'm nearly writing the picturing myself, so I'll stop here :)
Setting (I’m a bit better at settings in nature, but whatever you want!) (optional):  You choose, I'm curious to see what you come up with!
Thank you so much and I'm really looking forward to this!
Poinsettia~
The night sky was perfect tonight, peppered with stars and glittering constellations, like some ancient deity’s forgotten game of connect-the-dots, with trees silhouetted against the moon. The air was gentle and summertime-sweet, tinged with the scent of pines and woodsmoke and earth. Far below in the valley, pinpricks of light shone from the town’s many shops and houses, mirroring the stars above, and up on a cliff, a girl stared down at it, contemplative.
The rocky point on which the girl stood was bare, save for a few small, bold weeds growing gray-green beneath her sturdy lace-up ankle boots. The wind tugged loose strands of her dark hair and snapped the fabric of her long purple cloak. She gazed down at the valley, at the tiny lights shutting off one by one, knowing she should be in bed now, turning off her light, just like the townspeople below.
“You don’t have to do this,” called the owl, her familiar, who was perched on a tree a little distance back. “We could go back home. You could try this another time.” The girl dismissed the owl with a wave of her hand and took a deep breath.
She was beautiful, really — long dark hair with red and gold highlights blazing like sun rays, gold-flecked green eyes burning with passion and intellect, a light cinnamon complexion, and a kind, expressive face — but it wasn’t her physical appearance that most demanded your attention. No, it was her adventurous spirit, her unwavering courage and confidence, her thirst for something more. And she wasn’t going home until she had completed what she had come to this cliff for.
So she took a few steps back and, before she had time to change her mind, made a running leap off the cliff. For a second, she fell, and there was nothing but the sickening swoop of her stomach and the wind whistling her ears and snatching furiously at her hair and cloak. But then — with the lights of the town below her and a sky full of stars above her, with the adventure she had come looking for all around her — magic coursed like ichor through her veins, and she flew.
Oh my goodness gracious goodness gracious goodness gracious--
It's so pretty!! I love it! I feel like it just captures me really well - everything about it is perfect. (Even the details, like I actually do have a tendency to stay up later than I should!) And your writing style is so poetic and vivid... anyway, thank you so much!
Oh, and I'm glad you like my location :) Yours is "Outskirts of the Galaxy" I believe? I've always liked it too :)
