Hobbies: the hobby i'm most invested in right now is Japanese!  i'm not really doing much else at the moment but occassionally I write, read, play cards/board games, draw, watch too much TV, atemi jujitsu... i'm looking into taking classes for a bunch of things I really want to do but don't: gymnastics, singing, theater, softball, etc...

Favorite book(s): i read a LOT less than I used to but I recently finished the Shades of Magic trilogy and i LOVED it.  Please someone else say they've read it..

Likes: Interesting history facts, coffee, writing, playing the drums (and piano, and sometimes guitar), etymology, board games, D&D, horrible puns, the number 13, Halloween, cartoons, supernatural legends and monsters of all kinds, The Umbrella Academy (both the comic books and the series)

Dislikes: Dull history facts, milk, country music, not enough sleep, fear, football players generally, although there are a few exceptions.

Hobbies: I write a lot (more specifically, a lot of fiction about various monsters and groups of unsuspecting but tenacious children), and I read quite a bit, practice piano, bike, skateboard, knit, bake occasionally.

Favorite book(s): Currently my favorite book is Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth. (I'm not quite finished yet, though.) It's a queer gothic that switches between modern and historical times, and features wasps, curses, and doomed lovestricken teens. It's written very well, I highly recommend.

Taste in music (n/a if you're not into music): My taste is very broad, but also very narrow in the sense that it can be of any genre if I happen to like a specific song of that genre. That being said I mostly listen to indie, some choice artists being The Smiths, Grimes, Belle and Sebastian, AJR, and Lemon Demon.
