@Hawkstar, MCU stands for Monthly Check-Up, a sort of magazine with funny remarks by AEs, Important Dates, CBers' answers to a question (called LMWAY - Last Month We Asked You), etc. The last MCU was "...", submitted by The Pickwick Club, on page 2 of TM, if you want to look through it :)

@CelineBurning Bright, would you like to do Important Dates? You already seem to have a bunch, so if you'd like to gather the dates and then do commentary that'd be awesome. Or you can gather the dates and I (or someone else) can do commentary? Ofc, if you want to do something else that's totally fine and I can just do Important Dates :)
@all, we should probably try to figure out the LMWAY and Advice Column questions as soon as possible so we can get a thread out asking for submissions. The Advice Column could be something like "How can you prepare for the next school year?," maybe?
also, here are some ideas of stuff for people to do~
-Book of the Month (short review of a book you'd like to recommend to
others this month) (can or can not be related to the month itself) (Poinsettia might be doing this?)
-August
Playlist (compose a short playlist [five songs or so] related to August!) (I can do this but only if no one else wants to)
-Threads to Check Out (we could also ask for submissions along with the LMWAY etc.) (Poinsettia might be doing this?)
-Quotes (Funny CB Quotes, Book Quotes, and Inspirational Quotes)
-LMWAY (Last Month We Asked You) Prompt (a fun question for CBers to answer related to August/summer somehow)
-anything else! :D

To answer your question -- you can do it with or without your AEs. It's more commonly done with AEs, but it's also fine if the commentary is just by yourself. :)
