Third day of

Third day of Christmas!  Oh, and just so you know, I'm not making one of these on Sunday, since the Admin won't be posting.  Admin, when does your vacation start?

1. What was your new year's resolution?  Did you keep it?/  If so, congrats!  If not, then hahahaha you lose...! :) How did you celebrate New Year's?
2. What did you do to celebrate Easter?  Did you have an egghunt?
3. How did ou celebrate Independence Day?  Did you see any fire works?  If so, did you watch them in Real Life or on the television?
4. What did you do for Halloween?  If you dressed up, what were you?
5. How did you celebrate Thanksgiving?  Who was there?  Did you eat turkey?  And did you watch the really lame Macy's Day Parade?
6. What other holidays that I forgot to mention did you celebrate?
7. What was your favorite holiday over all?

We don't really have a set schedule for posting or vacation time for all Admins. At least two of us post comments from our homes, so we really may be posting anytime. It just depends upon what else we have to do. Sometimes comments are posted on Sundays. I doubt any of us will be posting on Christmas Day, but other than that we may be posting anytime.

1. What was your New Year's resolution? Did you

keep it? If so, congrats! If not, then hahahaha you

lose...! :) How did you celebrate New Year's?

I think my resolution last year was to be more "social".

I've tried my best and I think I've succeeded in that. :D

We celebrated New Year's by going out to watch a movie

and out to eat. The movie we saw was that weird

Benjamin Button thing. And then later, me and my

mom (because my dad and brother were too "tired" to

stay up) watched the ball drop. :)

2. What did you do to celebrate Easter? Did you have an

egghunt?

Hmm, I don't think we did much for Easter this year. :( We

did get candy, because my mom just likes to get us something,

but we didn't do an egghunt this year. All of the grandkids are

growing up. XP We might've went out to eat with my grandma

 or something, though.

3. How did you celebrate Independence Day? Did you see

any fireworks? If so, did you watch them in Real Life or

on television?

I love Independence Day. We always have fireworks in our

field area were there's room and all of the neighbors sort of

start competing. XP Even though the past few years our 4th

of Julys have been rainy... It's still been fun. <3  :D

4. What did you do for Halloween? If you dressed up, what

were you?

I went trick-or-treating with two of my friends this year. I was

a 1950's waitress (Wich was really fun to dress up as. I even

carried around a little notepad and pen XD ) and they were both

 "gangsters" (a last minute thing, I promise ;) ). A very

interesting combination... o.O It was fun. :)

 5. How did you celebrate Thanksgiving? Who was there?

Did you eat turkey? And did you watch the really lame

Macy's Day Parade?

Well, we spent Thanksgiving with my dad's side of the family

this year (again, because my grandma and uncle on my mom's

side were in NYC for Thanksgiving). Mkay, well, pretty much

everyone was there. It was pretty much a full house. And no,

 I didn't eat turkey. I'm more of a ham person. ;D And yes, I

did watch parts of the Macy's Day Parade. :)

6. What other holidays that I forgot to mention did you

celebrate?

Hmmmmm, well, I went to a cookout on Labor Day (not something

we normally celebrate), but mostly just because the people who

were having it got married on that day, so it's kind of an anniversary

thing, too. Hrrrmmm, other than birthdays and Mother's and Father's

 Day, I think that's all.

7. What was your favorite Holiday overall?

I like all of the holidays for seperate reasons. My overall favorite

holiday has got to be either Haloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas,

but I love them all. :)

Fun. :) Thanks again, Paige!! :D

1. What was your new year's resolution?  Didn't really call it a esolution.  More like, try to be nicer, not to stay up to late.  Did you keep it?/  I sort of kept the nicer thing.  But staying up late... No!  If so,
congrats!  If not, then hahahaha you lose...! :) How did you celebrate
New Year's?  Every new year, my family has a party with a lot of friends.  this year my dad moved the computer upstairs, so a giant computer screen.  And then my dad made it so that on the screen, and with the sound, there was a live Widespread Panic concert.  So mostly just being with friends.  And telling a two year old not to get the hamster out, and drinking kid wine, and watching Horton Hears a Who while someone tells you it is midnight, January 1st.  So, to the next question!
2. What did you do to celebrate Easter?  Um, go to aunts house and smash eggshells filled with confetti on family's head.  Did you have an egghunt?  yes.
3. How did ou celebrate Independence Day?  Go to uncles house, slide on a giant water slide thing, fireworks, have cake, watch my cousin slide down the slide thing.  And it was one of my cousins birthdays!  Did you see any fire works? Yes.
If so, did you watch them in Real Life or on the television?  Real Life, twice.
4. What did you do for Halloween?  Make a very bad costume of an Enting and go trick or treating with friends.  If you dressed up, what were you?  A very bad Enting.
5. How did you celebrate Thanksgiving?  Go to Aunts house and stuff self with food.  And go to friends house and write what your thankful for on a leaf and tie it to a tree- twig thing. Who was there?  family.  Did you eat
turkey?  No.  Yuck.  Poor turkeys, they hate thanksgiving.  And did you watch the really lame Macy's Day Parade?  No.  what is it?
6. What other holidays that I forgot to mention did you celebrate?   Birthdays.
7. What was your favorite holiday over all?  Um...

I sort of did this a day late... I couldn't find it yesterday in those eight pages of This Month.

5. It's the parade they always have on Thanksgiving in NYC.  Mostly floats and dancing people, but they never show the floats on the TV.

2. What did you do to celebrate Easter? Um...  I don't remember!  I think we did a small egghunt and then went to FlatBread Pizza in the Old Port. Best pizza place ever! <3 Did you have an egghunt? why yes, I think i did...

1. I'm didn't really make one....  We just stay up until midnight and watch the ball drop at Times Square on the TV.

2. We did an egg hunt, and had friends over for to EAT creamed eggs.

3.  Ooh, we went over to my very rich neighbor's house! Every neighbor brings a dish and the men light off good fireworks, not little cheap smoke balls and such.  But, my cousins were also here, so we let THEM set off the smoke balls.  :)

4. Trick or treat as a rainbow-girl-y-thing-y.

5. We ate dinner at my house, just my family, and then we went to my friend's house for dessert.

6. hmmmm

1. None. N/a

2. Um... *cannot remember* Sorry, but it was so long ago, and it's late...

3: Well, we made  a red, white, and blue dessert. No; we haven't since we discovered that if we didn't comfort our dog, who is petrified of firework, she'll literally tear down doors.

4: We handed out candy.

5. We visited my grandparents. My parents, brother, grandparents, paternal aunt,  and cousins. I'm vegan—self-explanatory. No, and if it was that bad, I don't regret my decision.

6: Valentine's day! My class handed out candyto each other. Palm Sunday! I held a palm branch during church. My birthday! I went to Illonois to meet some of my relatives. Hey, maybe Meadow's met some of them! I'd ask, but I don't feel comfortable giving out my relatives' last names. Oh, and I went to Lincoln's Home National Historical Site. That was fun. And that's all I celebrate...

7: My birthday!

1. I didn't have a new year's resolution.....

2. What did I do for Easter? Oh yeah, I was sick! So I just lay on the couch and watched TV and slept and watched TV and slept some more and drank this DISGUSTING blue medicine.

3. My family and I went up to Illinois where most of our family lives. My Grandpa plays in a band there so we go whenever we can. And yes, we did see fireworks. In person. A little bit of the grass caught on fire because it was so dry, but it stopped burning in about a second.

4. We went to a friend's house, they were having a party. Then we all went trick-or-treating. I was a flower fairy, one of my sisters was a deatheater, mask and all, and my other sister was a pink sharpie. Then my friend was a vampire, her brother was an Indian and their friend was dressed as goth.

5. For Thanksgivin my family and I went to a friend's house and ate the food the parents had made the day before. Yes we did have turkey, and we sorta watched the Macy's parade. We have it recorded and we still haven't finished it. I remember last year though that Jay and Sam from Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman was on a float along with the Ruff Ruffman walk about.

6. Ummmmm, I think that's it.

7. Probably Thanksgiving, 4th of July or Halloween because we were either with friends or family during those holidays.
