Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

January issue!!  I

January issue!!  I got it yesterday! :) No Chatterboxers were in it, but EH and I were referred to in the Letterbox. :) And to Audrey, who lives in Orono: Woaaaah.  Orono's only like 2-3 hours away from Gorham but my gosh you got a lot more snow than us!  I think we had like 100".  Maybe a bit more.  And to the girl who replied to me who's uncle lives in Maine: Yes, that's true.  Northern Maine does have a lot of moose. (:

I have not gotten mine yet. Mum renewed my subscription for Christmas, maybe that has something to do with it.

Are you Elizabeth's sister, Isabell?

Are you talking about the Elizabeth H. that is obsessed with Harry Potter? if so, then no, I am her cousin; her dad and my dad are brothers. Elizabeth (Lissy) is sooooo lucky, she gets to go to America every year!!!! (I say this because my summers are horrid!) I've only got to go 1ce; mum and dad went on a trip and Aunt Lottie and Uncle Joseph (Lissy's mum and dad) took me to America with them for the summer. Charlie is a git, i must admit, and it was quite entertaining to watch Lissy and him fight.........

Lissy is the same age as me (11) but is ever so much futher along in school. Aunt Lottie home schools her. Lissy hates it. Aunt Lottie makes her learn soooo much, Lissy is at an 8th-grade level in most things, and she was only 11 on 19 September. Lissy likes the work, but not doing it with Aunt Lottie. Lissy trys to tell everyone that she goes to regular school, so if she told you, then don't belive her. And for the record, I got Lissy into Cricket... also for the record, Lissy dosen't like to be called "Lissy" and is trying to get everyone to call her "Elizabeth" ( everyone being everyone but Aunt Lottie and Uncle Joseph, who insist on calling her Elizabeth from the begining, but then she wanted to be called "Lissy"......)

Don't get me wrong, I love Lissy, I really do, and I don't dislike her in any way, in fact, we could be twins. I was born on 1 September, and we look almost exactly the same, except the fact that I have brown hair and she has verry blonde hair, and her eyes are green and mine are blue. It is actually verry queer, not just Lissy and me, but Charlie and my brother Joe. Charlie is 1 month older than Joe, and they look exactly alike, except that Joe is better natured than Charlie. Charlie is good natured ......except around Lissy and when Lissy is around he is very uptight about little things that usually end in quarrels. The other queer thing is  that my mum and dad had not heard from Lissy's parents and named Joe after Lissy's dad, and Lissy's parents named Charlie after my dad. Then when I was born, they named me after one of my dad's grandmothers, Isabell, and after someone from my mum's side, Emily, and after my dad's other grandmother, Elizabeth, and Lissy's full name is Elizabeth Anna Isabell, almost the same as min , but a bit diffrent.

Queer, right?

Wow, that was a lot of information! So how old are you, then?

Sorry it looked a lot smaller on the comment submit box...................... I turned 11 on September 1st, 18 days older than Lissy......

It actually is verry queer, the similarities between me Lissy and me. One I forgot to mention was that we both have verry short tempers, though Lissy keeps hers on the web. Another thing that we have in comon is this weird thing with reading.... Lissy has probibly told you by now... it is the thing with having to do with being "in" the story and "being" the charecter. It probably sounds mental, but it actually does happen, I swear!

Wait, sorry, I just read where you said you were 11. I missed that the first time. Does it snow much where you live? I met someone from southern England once and she said it mostly rained there.

It snowed this year where I live... That is all i'm allowed to say. Apperently you or others could know where I live if I said how much it snowed and if it snowed often...... mental, isn't it? My mum shares the same views as Lissy's mum does on how much you are allowed to say about yourself on the Internet

Frown

Sorry!

That's okay. I have to be very careful on the internet too. I don't even have a last initial on here. I think you will find that most people on Chatterbox are not very specific about where they live, either. :)

I don't complain about it most of the time... but seriously, if it snows much, is an unaceptalble piece of info to give, I think it is mental. And notice I have not said once where I live, you just take it for granted that I live in England, just like I take it for granted that you live in the states.

Yes, I am assuming you live in England, because of the way you spell and word things (19 September), and because you said something about American summers that sounded as if you were from England. I could be completely mistaken, of course, but you know. :)

Yes, I am from the United States, I live in the Midwest. As far as snow goes here, we have gotten far too much this year in my opinion, and it is currently freezing.

It is fine that you think I'm from England, because I am. I always drop 1 or 2 hints purpoisfully for fun, but most of my words and spellings (19 September and 1 September etc.) come subconciously. I was just mentioning that I never actually said where I live ( untill now).

Isabell

P.S. I like snow in small amounts.

I wish I lived in England (since all of my family is there). Do you like custard creams and smarties? How about mince pies? I hate them, no offence, and I'm the only one in the family who hates. Tongue out
